Maybe some updated rebrands are in order for you both to be happy again.

Someone chopped off Bet’s finger.

Tiff and Bets, you need a total makeover and a rebrand could be in the offerings, leave the things in the past, they are their for a reason.

I think Jethro Tull once said it best:

You two keep “Living in the Past.”

Look to the future ladies, and maybe think “side hustle.”

Like selling Soufflé Lingerie.

As for rebranded politicians? GAG!!!!

Last panel: Bets’ hand either has the pinkie finger chopped off, or she is counting thumb, forefinger, middle finger, ring finger. Who does that? I’ve always counted from forefinger, middle finger, ring finger, pinkie and lastly thumb. It makes the last panel look weird.

Also, does this mean Karen is going to change the character of Tiffany after 39 years?

Yeah, at heart you’ll be the same sweet self-centered students BUT we all have many facets to our lives and personalities. Time to let the world see another side of you!

People don’t rebrand? I live in California. Rebranding ourselves is practically a way of life for lots of us.

I can’t bend just my pinky finger as Bets did. The ring finger automatically follows it.

Isn’t the notion of “rebranding” just an assertion of form over substance? Now, there could be some practical use for putting a new label on an existing product. I believe the term “rebranding” owes its origin to the practice of modifying the ownership marking branded onto the hides of cattle — part of the practice called “cattle rustling”. Wasn’t that a hanging offense?

Most politicians are going to rebrand to orange jumpsutis if they’re lucky, or the eternal hot place, if they aren’t.

Tiff has the looks. Bets has the hustle and business skills. But I don’t think Greg has the spirit. He’ s like Tiffany in the first panel.

I really like TamaFanatic’s response to Ivlax, above. Possibly a podcast discussing issues, fun, challenges of being young college students. Friends would all have a part.

Tiff has been rebranding in a positive way ever since her crisis of relationship with her dad. Bets is doing well recovering from sm addiction. These two don’t need to go back to the past.

You could change your names to… I guess X is taken. How about Y & Z? At least use real letters, don’t make up some funny symbol which will mean you are referred to as, “the people formerly known as Tiff and Bets.” It would get so silly you’d have to change back.

Hey, this week of strips might pass the Bechdel Test! Two young women, discussing their lives and work, without discussing men.

Oh wait, already discussed Tiff’s dad. And Snoop Dogg.

It’s a really hard test to ace. I’d have an easier time, since I’d happily spend the livelong day discussing women. Men suck. But try, just try, to create a film or show that appeals to women, and has no interesting men in it. Interesting to them, anyway. ;)

I seem to remember Tiff being much slimmer and wearing her twirler’s outfit most of the time.

Tiffany has come a long way since she lost her mean popular girl aspect. Maybe could try volunteer work, looking for career opportunities, honing her special skills, and telling her friends that she loves them.

Even presidential candidates have brands, the value of which they overinflate.

Everyone Bets named is a corporation before they’re a person.

First thing Tiff, change that horrible hairstyle !

You weren’t popular or anything, Tiffany, you thought you were.

I’m still boggled that Bets, who appears estranged from her family and doesn’t seem to have any other source of income, gave up her lucrative job with no planned alternative, just to fixate on Gunther.

HOORAY! This is the best idea possible! Tiffany and Bets could do an original project that their Prof would really like and help each other. They really need to do a rebrand, especially Bets because Tiffany has already found several ways to change herself. But she also never had a specific goal and just followed different ideas. Questioning themselves, looking for new goals to pursue and a new career path will certainly do them good. Can’t wait to see how the new Bets and Tiffanys will look like.

Join the Army. Or Navy. Or even yet, the Marines! Talk about a lifestyle change!

Crazy world.

Man! This is deep… I have found in life, most people have to “remake” themselves several times over… After a loss of a friend, a job, spouse, health… You’re forced to change the way you look at things like relationships, wealth, happiness. Maybe a better word is “refine”. Happiness is usually not what we want it to be, but something we make of our selves and ultimately better.

Tiffany’s changes throughout the last few years has been fascinating to watch.

Bets did not need to drop her source of income. She made money on the internet before she met Gunther. She can continue whatever she did before BetsNGun.

If I had an 8 am class I would not be up talking late at night. I’d be in my room alone, relaxing so I could get enough sleep.

And, of course, blazing the trail (for better or worse) – Madonna.

Those two might actually make a good small business team.

None of those are people…

It’s worth pointing out that Tiffany seems to be a better person now than she was in high school.

Hasn’t Tiff already tried the re-branding thing?. I remember Sheraton St. Louis.

“To succeed socially on the internet required young people to “devote a large part of their consciousness— perpetually—to managing what became their online brand,” Mr. Haidt avers. “This was now necessary to gain acceptance from peers, which is the oxygen of adolescence, and to avoid online shaming, which is the nightmare of adolescence.””

First they both need to figure out what they want. Neither has a clue right now.

Tiffany liked being popular and sexy, Bets loved her influencer life. What’s wrong with this picture? What’s wrong is both of these girls SETTLED for a status quo identity to please OTHER PEOPLE. I hope Bets starts her blog again and Tiffany digs up that self-esteem she put on the shelf so long ago!

When people re-brand, they become companies and stop being people.

This is reminding me of the multiple times Bernice changed her hairstyle in an attempt to rebrand herself, only for her to remain the exact same insufferable person she was before.

You weren’t popular in high-school Tiffany. You were a spoiled, self-centered, egotistical b@tch. Your “popularity” and “power” came from false friends kissing your a$$ to stay in your wake. Reality is a cold slap in the face.

Is Jessica Alba popular again? Haven’t seen anything about her in the media.

I first thought Ellen Page was cute until she reinvented herself to become Elliott Page. Now, the former actress looks more like an altar boy.

Been a while since I’ve seen Tiffany looking this slim. They haven’t made a big deal about her trying to lose weight, and she was still fairly “curvy” in a swimsuit. I guess that’s part of the next stage of her life aka “rebranding”. (If y’all have been discussing this already, sorry. I skimmed down to the bottom without reading the comments today.)
