The only emergency here is that someone else is on your Woman’s lap and you think you are the only one entitled to it! Don’t be such a baby! Besides, you’re a big boy. Can’t you jump up on the couch yourself?

Well, in Elvis’s defense, and cat knows he needs one, it IS a BIG RED COUCH! And the woman does have two hands. And Elvis does have SENIORITY!

One cat on the lap at a time. Two cats on a lap are just asking for trouble.

Iggy cares so much he’s slightly woken up.

Cats know not patience.

My pair of voids are celebrating their Gotcha Day, so far by lying on the keyboard and jumping on the bed.

Somebody else is sitting on Mommy’s lap and Elvis isn’t being a Big Boy about it at all!

I’m waiting for Elvis to threaten to hold his breath until his face turns purple.

Elvis wants that stage, to himself! Iggy is not going to, Pop off!

“I need to be on the couch” is shorthand for “I need to be the center of your attention”.

Emergency uppies cannot be ignored.

Elvis: As long as we’re here, we may as well give the Kat Kiosk our business.

Khay, Proprietor of the Kat Kiosk: What will it be, gentle cats?

Puck: A chocolate and butterscotch sundae with extra whipped cream.

Elvis: A strawberry cheesecake sundae with extra strawberries.

Khay: Coming right up.

Iggy’s rubbing it in big time. He’s such a fun cat behind that shy exterior.

In this situation, some literal thinking seems appropriate. Elvis needs to be on the couch, so put him on the couch, then go somewhere else.

Elvis is such a divo.

Elvis, it’s a big couch, and you are perfectly capable of jumping up on your own!

Someone is cranky! Why doesn’t he just jump up onto the back of the couch?

Glad to see that Iggy is not bothered by the dramatics of Elvis. But I guess if you’re used to Ora Zella dramatics, Elvis gets second billing!

I forgot to mention: I’ll be at the cabin for several days, so don’t worry if you don’t see me here.

My dog Layla gets very jealous if I show any attention to my cat, Olivia. She will get up, come over, and force her head under my hand to make me pet her instead of the cat. If I ignore her and continue petting the cat she will nip at the cat’s feet to try to get the cat to leave. If the cat doesn’t leave and I continue petting her, Layla will then seek out one of her toys, bring it over, and deposit it right on top of the cat. If I set it aside and continue loving the cat Layla will start barking and whining in a super high pitched voice that sounds remarkably like a two year old child throwing a tantrum.

Layla is 11 years old.

And she’s a 100 pound dog.

Layla is obviously spoiled. Errrr…….PAMPERED! I meant to say pampered!

As someone mentioned yesterday, perhaps The Girl can assist in calming the Siamese Sunflower. If she scoops Elvis and snuggles with him, his Giant Ego may be soothed enough, permitting Iggy and The Woman to continue their cuddles as well.

Elvis your a dad now. You can’t do your usual nonsense when the child is watching. Well this child ora zella is a lost cause.

Oh, Elvis. Demanding to be on the couch really isn’t a good look for you.

Is ths an example of catty behavior? It’s hard out there for an irascible Siamese.

Follow-up to the OT I posted yesterday.

I just found out that my neighbor who was taken away by ambulance didn’t make it. He leaves a wife, four grown kids, and a granddaughter.

Been on Go for many years. Love this and Ten Cats plus others. S I don’t comment much. But I am glad I live alone so no one can hear me scream. I have trouble picking out pictures to prove I am not a robot. I really hate the capcha. Sorry for the rant, but I am angry.
