For anyone that thought her wrist was still bad after a month.. nope! She just wants to stay there because she’s comfy there.. not because of her sprained wrist. She needs to decide where she wants to go and do it soon. Les will end up a hunchback if he keeps sleeping in the bean bag. LOL
At least she’s feeling a little guilty about mooching off the guys for a month still she feels it “cute” that guys will do things for girls who just might let them have sex. There’s a word for girls like that.
Tiff, do you really think you can order the boys around and not think they’ll want……something in return? Yes gunther has a gf. But les doesn’t so you know he’s gonna want some.
Now, the real problem has been put on the table: she isn’t comfortable (I think safe would be a better word here) at home or the dorm. What can be done to fix the problem and have her feel safe at home?
OK, Tiff – here is the plan. Since you want to stay there AND Irma/Al do not want anyone shacking up in the Gulag, it looks like you and Les will have to get married.
The solution is always to find a way to kick Stefi out of the room/college and prevent her from annoying Tiffany again. But how could they do it? Not to mention that Dez is the kindness herself and I can’t see her be able to find a way to turn someone away. They need Bets! She’s the only one who could find a solution here!
Nope. Not buying it. The story arc isn’t believable at this point. There’s no WAY Gunther’s mom would not have noticed Tiff staying here and there’s no way she’d be ok with it. And if Tiff can get away with it, then Gunther’s girlfriend would be upset she’s not rooming here. And does Tiff’s dad have any idea what happened or where his daughter is living? It’s all too much nonsense.
Ah, there’s Punk! Leftovers. And there it is, Tiff’s reluctance to return to neither the mansion nor the quad. She’s probably wrong about the guys. But, I’ll bet they miss her when she’s gone. Whenever that is. Come on Dez, with the logic. ;-)
Look, I get it. Steff is an absolute nightmare at the dorms and her own house feels like it has neon signs welcoming other possible criminals. I wouldn’t wanna go back to either if I were in her shoes either. But Tiff is not stupid; we all know she’ll eventually gather her nerves and go back to one or the other. My money’s on the dorms because even though Steff is intolerable, at least she knows people there and won’t feel so vulnerable.
Having them all move into the mansion would make sense. Les could enjoy pretending to chase burglars. They each could have a room. Tiffany would be miserable as she’d have to admit she didn’t need coddling any longer.
I answer XlX by believing she’ll leave soon, by end of this arc (Saturday). Of course, I could and probably am totally wrong. But it makes sense. I predict the dorm because need of company is the determinative factor. But a possible misdirection, Tom Farrell decides to work remotely at the mansion. Problem solved, although dude spending quality time with your daughter is what in hades, she needs BAD!
The quickest way to resolve this arc is for Les to tell Tiff that it’s time for phase 2 of this relationship and living accommodations. She’d move post haste.
Too bad. Tiffany is back to her old self. Objectifying her good friends who helped her as “guys” and expecting them to wait on her head and foot…and arm (which is perfectly find by now). Anyone who thinks their friend is happy sleeping on a beanbag has a serious delusional condition. Maybe she needs some psychological advice from Bernice. Maybe she should sleep on the beanbag.
First, why is Gunther sleeping on a bean bag chair? I thought Tiff was staying in Les’ room? Why hasn’t Irma gotten involved? Dez is trying to get the point across that it’s time for her to move on. Hopefully she can get more forceful about it in the next day or so and this arc will be over by Monday.
She’s afraid to be alone in the house and you can’t blame her. Plus, Les doesn’t want her to leave. He keeps hoping she’ll give him a tumble. Meanwhile, Ox quietly serves and adores her. I really hope she gets a clue about that soon.
Sadly, a scenario with Tiff having a realization regarding Ox. for example is rom-com crap, most of the time. It does happen, but many here acted like I was an idiot because I was indignant that she left with Les, when it was actually OX who called 911 etc, and who came when the lights went out, and who is always ready to help. Yet now, apparently not even a phone call….because “she does not owe him anything”
Remember how even tempered Tiffany was when she arrived at the dorm, resisting Steffs taunts? Well the continuous bullying really shook her. The lack of support by her friends in the dorm further undermined her confidence. Going back to the big empty house could not work as she found out pre-dorm. Right now, at the gulag, she is safe and adored. That is what she needed, but Dez will help her see that she can get back to her prior independent self. There is no acceptable alternative though, yet.
She’s scared to leave and not looking forward to going to the dorm or the mansion, definitely see where she’s coming from. BUT it’s not considerate of her to coast on the fact that the guys will obviously say, “Sure, you can stay!” She was probably hoping she’d be their little Snow White, coming in making sure the pigsty house turns into a cozy, livable abode while charming them with her presence just like the Disney movie…. only yeah, it doesn’t work that way IRL especially when you’re milking an injury.
My hope is that this resolves with something interesting changing with Tiffany’s living situation. Like something different from her toxic dorm situation or going back to the mansion after being scared it’s no longer safe. I do like that Dez seems to be understanding of Tiffany while still being firm that she needs to move on.
If she’s been there a month, how come they didn’t have her herb tea already and Les had to run out for it? Maybe she can invite Les & Gunther to move into the mansion with her. Bets can move in with Gunther since they wouldn’t be under Irma & Al’s supervision anymore.
Nope, Tiff. Why don’t YOU try sleeping on it? That was where the boy should have set her up on that thing when she showed up asking to stay there. She would have left the next day and sought another safe haven. She should have gone back home after having the broken window taken care of. She could have asked her dad for a housemaid and a cook since she was moving out of the dorm. Her dad would agree to that since he’d just be moving the payments to Moony for room and board to the house staff. And be more responsible about security alarm. Since she lives in a gated community, she can request the security team to follow her to her house and watch her enter the house safely. But of course, as someone pointed out, the whole point of this comic is not about resolutions but creating problems for sake of creating drama.
And so we learn that Tiff’s malingering is neither flirtatious nor malicious but rather simply uncomprehending. She doesn’t get it that she’s imposing on the lads!
I’ve been reading all the solutions put forth by everyone above, but there is one possible solution I have yet to see addressed. So, if I may have the floor…
Suppose Tom finds out….first, what happened to his daughter, and second, what happened to the window, and, knowing how the house was advertised on the internet and how its address was likewise disclosed, is led to decide that it’s time to sell the mansion? He might decide that it’s too big for the just the two of them and decide to move into a smaller place? That mansion certainly must cost a fortune to maintain, another factor in that decision.
I would have loved to see her absentee father’s reaction to the break in. He is the ONE that should be comforting Tiffany. Not over stimulated boys who expect something in return.
I hope the girls decide to move into the mansion with Tiffany. That way Steff and Kip can have the apartment to themselves. That much of Steff will definitely send Kip running away.
I’m not yet convinced that Tom even knows anything about the incident. Tiff says at the beginning of staying with the guys that she doesn’t want her father to find out, and I don’t believe she has let him know.
I feel Tiffany is being selfish here. I get she feels safe, but Les sleeping on a beanbag for over a month? She should go back to her mansion, and let someone stay with her if shes so uncomfortable. I reccomend Dez.

@Luann1212 Well here it is Thursday and we’re still waiting for the segue into the escape plan.
Looks like Tiff will be enjoying the good life for awhile to come. Maybe it’ll take Al or Irma to show up.
Les is gathering major creds and will be looking for “favors” in return, maybe. Or is he just twitterpated over Tiff?
