Nobody cares about a young couple that are flaunting their breaking of the landlords rules, and living like hermits to do so. It puts them both in an unflattering light.

With all the experience Bets has at streaming.. I’m surprised they’re having so many errors.

I think Irma and Al are already on to them and this will blow up in their faces.

Bets’ fascination with going viral is boring. She’s cute as a button, but shallow as all-get-out. If she’s got more going for her, then Greg needs to feature her finer traits, rather than focusing so much on her social media habits.

Jesus. I think they are stubbornly trying to make a point to Irma and Al or sticking it to them rather than seeking a better living arrangement – such as moving into Tiff’s manse. Silly young adult logic.

It looks like things are getting heavy and complicated for Bets and Gunther. Constantly having to hide is wearing them down and they can’t post videos as naturally as they did before. I feel sorry for say this, but I hope they get caught so they can confront Al and Irma. Maybe they could even find out a solution together and not just have the big fight we all expect.

Bets & Gunther are pretty stupid for wanting their video to go viral. Word could easily get back to Gunther’s Mom. Plus I resent the path this strip is taking by condoning fornication. Gunther used to be a sexually pure guy until Bets browbeat him into having sexual relations with her just to prove he placed her above his mother. Do the cartoonists forget the arc where Luann thought Gunther and Bets were sleeping together and Gunther said they weren’t and was offended that she had thought so?

No, no, no. Finish making the video without the goofs, then release just the goofs separately as “enhanced content”.

Bets’s job of “influencer” might actually do some good. “Take note, kids. Don’t allow yourselves to believe your life is interesting enough to stream to social media.”

Fornication? Or these are college kids whose living together, intimate or not, or the actual, racist (I’m sorry, but I have to call a spade a spade) one comment that blames Bets as being a Jezebel tricking her innocent white boyfriend to have sex so she can get over on Irma. So reflective of where our country is unfortunately is these days. My take is that the video stuff, with Bets is just a McGiffin designed to move the story, but is not the story. I mean this blog is social media, anyone realize how two 19-20 year old kids live in a virtual world? Us old farts are too. I’m most interested in the inevitable confrontation between that Jezebel Bets and that nice, Gunther, who by the way is the other active partner in this. That is what the arc really is about. Hopefully, GnK slyly will disarm the darkness with a humorous resolution that ties up the story in a nice Luannverse way, but that will be very interesting to see what they have in store.

The goofs have been in since the device was powered. But the outtakes should be funny.

Putting something like this online is a major goof in itself.

Bets and Gunth bragging about the absurd lengths they go to to hide from mommy is pretty pathetic. Is Bets so vapid she thinks her subscribers will be impressed by this? Yeah, I know you can get some sycophant fans, but there tend to be more people dying for a reason to find fault in an e-celeb. They WOULD call out how smug and entitled this is. Plus, this is the internet… you know for a fact some one would troll them and have the videos emailed to Al’s public email on linkedin or whatever site he has his employment info on.

Also, I still can’t get over that this is the same Bets who was sanctimoniously ranting at Tiffany for being an inconsiderate, spoiled mooch (despite the guys never telling her they wanted her to move out and everyone acting like they enjoyed her company); yet here she is doing more or less the same amount of bratty behavior (taking advantage of a living arrangement meant for 2 people. Imposing her need for social media validation on Gunther who’s clearly not enjoying it) only she’s doing it WITHOUT the permission of Al and Irma. How are we supposed to feel about her? I used to think she was an alright character but the double standard she has is making her seem incredibly obnoxious.

Why, there are a number of admirers on this site who hit the Sultry Ann❤️Eiffel vids hundreds of times… and, yes, we know who you are. ;) But seriously, Count and Exotic Ann❤️Eiffel devoted fans and followers, Betts in Fiji trolling for shoog geezers with Dearest Ann❤️Eiffel and the other ❤️Eiffelettes would be soooo much more interesting that spending the summer cloistered with a dork like Dumpster. I’ve been wondering what it is about Bets and Gunther that would be even remotely interesting in a blog, and now I know! All of her fans are hooked on how stupid these two are. “Let’s see what the idiots are up to” is probably what all her “fans” say first thing in the morning! LOL!

And Bets? – “My House My Rules” is still a valid statement – even if you insist on having no respect for anyone else….not even “the man you love”.

For a supposed social media addict, Bets is remarkably ignorant of what people would actually want to see her and Gunther do.

A video online, documenting how you’re secretly living in his apartment without his Mom knowing. Sadly there ARE people this stupid.

I think Gunther wants Mommy and Al to find out. That way they will toss Bets out and Gunther won’t have to do it. I’m sorry Betts but there are so much more you could be doing than constantly blogging.

Bets is trying to reset the standard in her own way. Showing young people that it’s good to disrespect the boundaries of hardworking caring people who actually provide for their grown children. I will be the first to cheer when it backfires. We are all commenting from our unique viewpoint and as someone whose parents never gave me any sense of security and who took away my boundaries at a young age I would have given anything to have what Gun and Les has. I would probably have gone along with Bets too if I were him because.. not allowed to have boundaries! She is disrespectful and foolish.

Hmm. In my opinion…. I tend to feel most aggravated about Gunther and Bets playing house like two little bratty kids…. instead of cohabitating like adults. Adults should either a) pay for their own housing, or b) get permission from Irma & Al to cohabitate in the Gulag, or c) if they cannot “do” either (a) or (b), wait to cohabitate until you can do the needed work TO ACCOMPLISH either (a) or (b). All Gunther and Bets are doing now is being defiant and childish.

Luann1212 wisely identifies Gunther and Bets relationship as “Romeo & Juliet – esque”. I can see that perspective well. BUT, during all of this “defy Irma & Al” story arc….. to me…. I see an awful lot less kindness and love expressed BETWEEN Gunther & Bets….. and a helluva lot less kindness expressed BY Gunther and Bets towards others. So…. to me, while I can see the “Romeo & Juliet – esque” aspects of this arc…. to me it is a poorly done rendering…. and as a comic, it really is not giving me any humor nor joy either.

Gunther might be BETS’ first boyfriend—-and in her own way she’s just as insecure and nerdy as he is.

Does somebody with experience do what she’s doing now?

Oh so that’s why Bets wants to stay with Gunther, for her followers. Pretty low standard. But does reflect the current state of the world.

Has she never considered the possibility of Al seeing her videos? Sure, he’s an older guy, but he’s pretty smart. Or a friend of Gunther’s mom seeing them, maybe because her own kid follows them online? This is just risky as hell.

Guther’s mom and step dad are sure to see this “viral” video and then the jig is up.

Would it help this anemic storyline if Nil did a portrait of Gunther and Bets? As Bonnie and Clyde? And, by the way, did we ever see that painting he did of Mona Lisa and “David”?
