The real Tragedy of her being in office is that some quarters Still take her seriously when she speaks, and even quote her, instead of greeting her ‘announcements’ with gales of laughter and well-deserved sarcasm. They seem to respet the office she holds when she herself Dis-respects the office and the entire government every time she opens her mouth. She and the others like her, like Loudmouth Lauren, are Big reasons why the USA is held in such risible contempt by so many around the world. If such clowns are being elected, they reason, Washington muxt be a Circus.

One of my all time favorite authors is Ross Thomas. He was a Washington reporter turned crime novelist, and most of his books involve political scandals.

At his wildest and most sarcastic, he couldn’t have come up with a loony cast like George Santos, Donnie Trump, and Empty Green

    Poe’s Law, according to Wikipedia:

“Poe’s law is an adage of internet culture saying that, without a clear indicator of the author’s intent, any parodic or sarcastic expression of extreme views can be mistaken by some readers for a sincere expression of those views.”

And the reverse is also true.

Thomas Hobbes (1588 – 1679) in his book Leviathan, describes life without government as, “No arts; no letters; no society; and which is worst of all, continual fear, and danger of violent death: and the life of man, solitary, poor, nasty, brutish and short.”

This could easily apply to Florida under DeSantis. It is the philosophy he wants to apply to all of America.

Lately I feel anyone running for office must take and pass the same tests given for citizenship. This way we can confirm they know the history of the U.S. and how the government works.

It will be part of a signed affidavit or equivalent that they took the test.

If they lied about taking the test without help, they are removed and band from running for office.

MTG, is just aloud mouth middle school mean girl with no real intelligence.
