This story isn’t going to be about who Leslie has the hots for, it’s about Tiffany’s delusions.

Dez is the only character in the strip with an IQ into three digits. They should use her more often.

The lady could be a regular customer. Perhaps Tara.

“Someone at work has been really hot lately”. … I’m guessing it’s not Nancy. Dez is doing a great job trying to reason with Tiff … but I still think it will be someone else. Has Ox been working out with the football team and gotten buff? Is it a female customer? Who do we least suspect?

Dez, you are being silly. Les is a 19–20-year-old guy. He’s likely to eyeball Tiff way more than a 50-year-old woman who is the mother one of his friends. You just can’t imagine anyone interested in Tiff given her I’m-better-than-you personality but Dez, you’d be surprised exactly how many guys ARE interested in those kinds of girls. They take the challenge of trying to conquer and squash that holier than thou ego. Just like those guys like Kip…chasing girls like Stef…pretty with big egos. Thrill of the chase and trophy girlfriends. Les could very well be attracted to Tiff’s upper crust status quo. He lived in poverty and lived with an uncle. He could very well be eyeballing Tiff just for that.

Impressive—a teapot labeled “tea” (cha)—perhaps so it doesn’t get confused with a neti pot! This arc will no doubt end in embarrassment for someone…and it’ll take a tortuously frustrating path to get there. Tune in tomorrow…and tomorrow…and tomorrow!

Les has had a very obvious crush on Tiffany for years now- this shouldn’t be be shocking news anyone.

Maybe Les was being literal instead of figurative when he said someone at work was “hot”- Nancy is of menopausal age, but why would a 20 year old guy care? Who knows where this src is going? Time will tell.

Maybe it’s another one of those arcs that doesn’t go anywhere- it just wanders around.

I greatly fear that this arc will disintegrate in two people permentantly getting getting the WRONG “idea.”

No, I think Tiffany must be right— Les couldn’t possibly, under any circumstances, be interested in anyone except her. Let’s humor her, anyway.

There is a phrase in the Bible about in a person’s eye keeping them from seeing a way to salvation. Totally blind to what is really going on. I can’t believe the comments about everything but what the arc is saying for real here, that the humor is Tiffany’s vanity, but more. how sad, yet understandable why Les would have a ‘crush" on Nancy considering the kind of person and mom she is, plus looking very good too, given his mom Awful Ann Eiffel. But Dez is making it quite clear. It’s funny and sad, at the same time, the theme of Luann comic. I am looking forward to how the story is developed for this particular character, Les. Man the Bets hatred as usual.

I think Tiffany and Des are both way in left field with this. I still think Bets made this “secret” up just to yank Tiffany’s leg.

Dinno if Dez is right, but if she can put doubt in Tiffany’s mind I think there could be some hilarious misunderstandings at The Fuse. I hope so, just as I hope this arc can end with a heart-to-heart talk between the two, with Tiffany starting to see Nancy as a mother. For all we know Les could have been talking about himself.

Well, Les probably does have “mommy issues” so Luann’s mom makes sense.

Wasn’t there the hint of something possibly starting between Les, and, Tif during the Ann Eifell Lingerie scam? I do remember him giving up his room, and, taking down some it’s decor, when she came to recuperate after breaking her arm in the WhareManse scare.

Or maybe he’s not sweet on anyone.

Luann’s mom looks just like all the young adult women. They all look alike.

Unfortunately, I am finding this arc (which seems to be associating with the various “MILF-style” shows that are “popular” now, to be rather unpleasant and distasteful.

I like Tiff being wrong, but I’m uncomfortable with the Luann’s mom thing.

I swear the original Three’s Company writers would have looked at this scenario and thought “nah, too hackneyed”

I realize Tiffany is an egomaniac and also socially insecure but it’s been my experience that when someone is unrequitedly interested in a potential romantic partner, the target of said interest isn’t quite as thrilled as Tiffany is. It can make life very awkward, particularly if the two people spend a lot of time together. I still think Les’s use of the phrase “hot” has nothing to do with sex appeal but literal heat and that will be the punchline of the arc.

Dez has a point. Luann’s mom is pretty hot.

And Tiffany has gone back to her high school mode.

Is it possible that Les is gay?

Why is Tiffany being so mean and conceited? I thought she was friends with Les. Doesn’t she remember how he let her have the waitress position, gave up his room for her when she got hurt, waited on her hand and foot and helped get Ann away from her dad?
