Sunday FunDay: Good news or jokes to cheer all of us up… Something needed as bad news tops the airways and on the internet.

Found them all. I totally missed the 2nd egg in the first panel.

OT – down the rabbit hole.

Got here early tonight so I took a trip down the random rabbit hole. It took me to June 1, 2019 and a night time concert with Baba and the Peep Toads (now there’s a good name for a band). Appropriately enough, the peep toads (or tree frogs) on our place are in full song right now. They are the loudest I have heard them in the si years we have been here.

What’s not to like about a giant mutant bunny with jelly beans and carrots in place of toe beans and paw pads? (I hope Ora Zella takes down that bleeping freak of nature!)

Iggy 1) looks snazzy in his nifty suit and 2) is the only subject to be photographed who looks calm and relaxed.

OZ looks darling in her bonnet, and Pengo and Pippa clean up nice!♥

I was never good at those kinds of photos. I was a naturally shy child and uncomfortable in staged situations overshadowed by large strangers. I assume we learned not to do that to me very early!

I love that the girl is wearing an Easter bonnet. I miss getting a new hat for Easter, but I do not miss the Mary Jane’s. They blistered my feet!

I must say, Pucky looks quite dapper in his pink suit! It really suits him. And Iggy is adorable, of course. So sweet.

Love how the Boy’s vest is made from the same fabric as the Girl’s dress. My mom made matching Easter dresses for me, my sister, and herself every year.

Iggy seems at an oddly worrying amount of peace with the unsettlingly large rabbit.

I relate to the Boy as I was also told hold still a lot as a kid despite holding still. Also yeah Ora Zella you bite that rabbit! This is for brodie!

P.S. My heart will never not be warmed any time Ora calls Puck “Poppa” and I love her overly large easter bonet.

I wonder if the Woman intends to bake a ham for Easter dinner. Gotta have a crowd pleaser, eh Puck? ♡〜٩(^▿^)۶〜♡

Carrot toe beans on a stuffed animal? That’s just wrong. They do that, though. I don’t like it. I want my stuffed animals to have natural toe beans: felt, plush, or embroidered. Even if the whole animal is bright purple, it just strikes me as wrong to have a heart or carrot or word on the foot.

That was fun. Thank you. So much better than running around in the yard trying to find the eggs. SO much better than being one of 40,000 kids at the White House hunting Easster Eggs. Imagine the parking and traffic. No thank you. Just a family yard hunt is fine and more fun. But the BCN is even more so.

Where I live, some local farm market would roll out a hideous talking giant egg, called Eggbert. it was a tradition for some time, must have given nightmare fuel to generations of kids.

If Ora Zella succeeds in eating the entire bunny, we may have a repeat of Lupin with the cake.

OK. That giant rabbit is gonna haunt me in my dreams tonight—ha.

I found 28 or 30 eggs, myself.

Not this year, but last year, a parent loudly refused to let his kids take a picture with the bunny because the cashier was a transgender woman. He returned the following week and loudly expressed his relief that said coworker was no longer around, then happily encouraged his kids to hug the bunny and cuddle with the bunny for pictures.

Someday I kind of want to run across him and let him know who was inside the bunny suit.

i have totally met a creepy bunny before- I actually didn’t think it was creepy at the time because I was like 5
