An enviable commute!

So dapper, our Puck. Dressed to the nines, brushed and combed, toe beans at the ready…Suitcase in paw and ready for the water cooler gossip. It’s going to be a glorious day!

Absolutely the cat’s paws!

And now he’s ready for work.

So he puts his shirt on over his pajamas — clever kitty; it will make it easier when naptime rolls around.

What a beautiful start to the day! A cup of coffee with Buzzy M., a quick visit from nice folks, and now all neat and clean and dapper in a crisp shirt and tie. That feels so good all over.

There are times when getting up and getting dressed is the best part of the day.

I love his retro briefcase. I wonder what he carries in it?

They look so polished and professional!

I don’t know what it is about today’s strip, but I just love Puck. He appreciates the simple things.

And I must say, Lupin looks pretty well pulled together considering how his morning started!

Pucky Bear reminds me so much of Hamilton A. Cat. Both are relatively quiet and reflective, fairly round and good friends to those around them. Hamilton and I watch Holmes come running into the kitchen at full speed, jump on the kitchen table, and land on a woven placemat—Riding the placement like a bobsled, Holmes’s momentum carries him off the other side along with most things that were on the table. In my head, I hear Hamilton’s voice say, “He’s up…and there he goes.” As if on cue, we both look at each other and silently question the sanity of the orange one. However, to be fair, the entertainment value of Holmes so far has outweighed the financial cost of his antics.

Nothing like starting the morning at your own pace. Now Puck is ready to report.

Very cute bunny slipper. I keep calling Patch at the colony Puck. So I use Pucky Patch.

Puck is adorable, as always, and I love his simple, calm morning ritual. But his reflection in the mirror is incorrect… It’s “flipped” from what it would really be…

Sigh. I have never been a “morning person,” but I do remember mornings “BA.” (Before Arthritis.)

This arc has been a delight all week. I don’t know how Georgia does this. Every panel is so beautifully done.
