Jack seems to have Bernice’s attention.

Bernice has got it bad.

I think that would be the hard part of having Jack as a boyfriend: Is he always a trainer first? As in, does he ever turn it off?

She’s really cute in panel 1. Nice little figure.

Ben is, like, totally enthused. Bernice is probably wishing that middle panel would last forever. She is still in the same position in the third panel as in the second. Will Bernice ever move again?

Boy, just last week, Bernice had plenty to say. Thus week, she aint saying Jack! Pun intended. : )

Jack would make an excellent personal trainer. He should be written in to a job working for the fire department to keep the fire fighters fit — say that 3 times fast ;-p It’d makes sense for character development and tie some of the storylines together.

Ya know, I’m starting to like Bern’s brother, quite a bit. He knows just how, when, where, etc. to “Zing” Bern! :)

Bernie’s brother is cool and the full addition of this character is a breath of fresh air.

Well talk about pulling on repressed feelings (or triggers). Jack touching Bernice, invading her person clearly summons her very repressed feelings of desire for Jack, something she is afraid of, a real feeling for a real man. Ben helps in such a laid back, wise way. Jack seems unaware of the effect he has on Bernice. Will the desire twain meet?

Ben’s growing on me. Kinda funny! Not sure about jack and Bernice as a pair. They could be just what the other needs or end up with nothing in common. I’d like to see it happen tho!

Anyone else think Jack in real life would be the worst type of person to be around? He’s insufferable.

Yes, he does have it all.

I don’t think Bernice has to worry about whether her feelings for Jack are genuine (compared to say her feelings for Piro), one touch and she’s gone nearly speechless.

I find it hard to believe that Jack has no idea what he’s doing, but he doesn’t seem to.

Jack is a great gym trainer. Ready to help and truly capable of motivating people to follow his lead. I hope Bernice decides to go exercise with him every single day of her life♡. Ben is having a great time walking with his sister (and Jack). He looks very happy for her♡♡♡.

Jack has been too much of a one dimensional character of late! He was much more dynamic earlier.I think, maybe, Luann ruined him with her life change pep talk at the dog park back in July 2018..

It finally hit me. Bernice is SO much the Amy Cooper from Big Bang Theory. We’re just missing the “hoo” sound effects from Jack’s touch.

Jack has not dropped by Luann’s house since the fish naming (right?) No phone call to Bern. That doesn’t sound like a guy who’s interested. Ben is being supportive, which is sweet. I find their sibling closeness not credible: he was gone from the strip for years, nary a mention of him by Bernice in all that time. She goes from being intimidated by Ben to being chums rather fast. Not a bad thing, just not believable.

She’s not speed walking. She’s too fixated on Jack’s butt.

Has anything happened yet?

It might be possible to be more annoying about exercise and lifestyle than Jack giving unsolicited coaching like that, but only if he started preaching about going vegan.
