So Piro’s on the back burner? Or a chump to be ignored? Is the field now free for Luann to step up (fat chance that will happen)?

This is weird!

And now Bernice looks like any other 20something bisexual hipster female I see walking the streets of my town (all that’s missing is a wild hair color, facial piercings, and tattoos). So, are we still on this Piro storyline, or is this an entirely different arc?

Have we forgotten Piro already?

My prediction; Nils new art project will somehow involve Piro and Bernice will be caught looking like a fish out of water.

Come on a misdirection play on Monday? Head numbing, but it makes sense in the wacky logic of Luannverse; Walt/Piro’s letter might lead into “muse” action with Nil. So “lost” Walt/Pro and “not found Nil” might end up competing for Bernice, either the first or second most hated character in the strip. Would be fun for the non-hating story/arc followers, but for the Bern haters it would be miserable.

I’ve enjoy everybody’s comments. There is a bunch of great storylines that would make great arcs. Everybody’s thoughts on what is next I hope will come true. Great job Greg. You’ve got our attention. I hope whatever happens next, I hope it’ll make your faithful fan base happy.

Oh yes, Luann is clearly envying her, not wanting to point out that she’s exaggerating something. I’m happy that Bernice is going to meet Nil. Their relationship is suspended due to her insecurity and now Piro wants to get back into her life. She has to understand if she wants to go back with Nil, have fun and be happy, or if she wants to go back to see Piro and his dramatic life. I wonder if Nil knows Piro, maybe they met at the community college. It would be funny if he’s collaborating with him on this art project and a complicated situation immediately started between the three. How would Piro react to “Bernice the Muse”?

Art Project: recreating Rodin’s “The Kiss”, and Piro/Walt & Bernice are the models. THAT would be fun!

And Nil will remind Bernice that she is off-schedule. Forgot to change the watch to PDT. Also forgot that fast about contents of Piro’s letter.

Being carefree and spontaneous means you don’t care about little things – like being late. Looks like Bernice can only hold on to her “museness” for a limited period of time before she reverts! LOL!

I always liked Bernice’s original haircut when she was in high school better than the one Tiffany gave her.

Wow! I think I just got whiplash! Guess the letter has been relegated to a box under the bed or the circular file!A long while back Piro mentioned knowing New York when Luann was planning a trip. I wondered if he knew Pru? He seems as artsy as Nil.

I like her look. Sure, it’s been done before, but she doesn’t know that. I bet Nil doesn’t either.

I thought Nil hated this outfit as it broke his “muse” attraction to her.

Guess the Piro thing has been abandoned since Luann is in a different outfit today. And speaking of outfits, looks like Bernice is doing the Muse thing again (I thought it’d been a one-off going by the lack of follow-up since then; guess I was wrong.) Though I gotta say, that outfit isn’t particularly flattering on her since it accentuates her lack of curves. Of course any sex appeal is wasted with Bernice anyway, so I suppose that’s a good thing. Putting an attractive outfit on someone as frigid as her is like having a cool-looking car with no engine.

I have to give credit where due. GnK sure pulled a surprise with this angle. Given the comments from other, I wasn’t the only one.

Is this a repeat? I know we’ve seen a similar arc before.

Like many others here today I just got to wonder, ‘What just happened here?’One panel ago we were headed in one direction and then BOOM, blindsided and now we are going another. Back to Nilville eh? That Bernice , she has got it all going on.

It is no big deal if Bernice is out with Nil and sees Piro. She is barely friends with Nil and nothing at all to Piro. There would be nothing awkward about it. None of the 3 characters are that interesting.

I can’t keep up with her dating life. Is it Nil? Piro? Both? Neither? Oh well, buckle your seatbelt boys it’s going to be a bumpy ride!

I know a lot of people don’t like Bernice, but I think she’s a great character.

I would suggest that Bernice is not going to Meet with Nil and inspire him, but rather to meet Piro. This is a ruse to keep Luann from tailing her to see what she’s doing.

I was hoping we’d seen the last of her swaning around in that ridiculous outfit but THE MUSE LIVES!!!! Wonder what Piro will think if he sees her in it?!

How long will it take for Luann to give Bernice’s letter to Piro? I guess this means that they never exchanged phone numbers in the library.

I think Bernice looks nice. Well, maybe not the floppy hat, but the rest of it looks more expressive than her typical attire. Otherwise, people just need to learn to butt out. Let others do what makes them happy.

I haven’t finished reading all the comments yet, so someone might have mentioned one of these two thoughts already. But here goes anyway:1. Did Bernice make a date with Piro to go to coffee as his note requests? 2. If so, is Bernice actually late for the aforementioned date with Piro , rather than late to meet with Nil?

Is Piromania extinguished? Or will hippy-fied Bernie and her project, Nil, become entangled with Walt-Piro and maybe even Airhead Luann?

Stop,,,,and remember Tara’s warning: Piro won’t hurt Bernice, he’s afraid that Bernice will hurt him. And, that messed up muse is on her way to do just that.
