Puck, with the play by play of a spring day. So much to love in these panels. A perfect spring morning.

Like squirrels to a dog, our cat suddenly takes notice…

It’s heart-warming to see Queen Mag and O’Pericles strolling together.

So what news are Chitter and Chatter bringing to Puck? Could it be something about a certain lovesick raccoon?

I still can’t sign in from my computer, so comments will be few and short. I can still read comments and comics on the computer but can only like and reply from the Fire tablet. I feel as if I’m on the outside looking through the glass with my nose pressed up against the window pane! An apt metaphor for how I’ve felt most of my life. Yes, I know I used a simile! Try not to have too much fun without me. Just because I’m not here doesn’t mean I’m not watching.

A lot of my birds never left over winter.

We have resident birds that Bear loves to watch.

I love my chickadee and he loves me! He didn’t, for a very long while. Chickadees are naturally territorial and suspicious and for a long time I was a five-dee alarm. Better than the feral cat which is an eleven-dee alarm. But he gradually started coming to wait on me while I filled the feeder, would dee me a couple of times just to be sure I minded my manners, and tuck in. And then one day, he just landed on a branch near my head and started singing! I had never even heard a chickadee sing anything other than chickadee-dee-dee! So honored. And now he is bringing his little wife for breakfast in the mornings.

I get a feeling an arc is starting.

Trouble would be chattering his little furry heart out if those birds visited his window! ❤ I can’t believe all the veterinary staff at McMaster & Heap didn’t know what chattering was! OMC They thought he was having little seizures!!

Let’s hope Puck gets a glimpse of the Blue Bird of Happiness .

Wonderful nature, scene! I moved into my house during fall, and could only get a glimpse of the local birds. But now, I’ve had time to observe them. So far I’ve spied: Morning doves, house finches, purple finches, cardinals, blue jays and robins…who, for some reason, keep telling me I’m doomed!

And soon just like that you never realise but Jules will be back from his Journey to the Center of the Earth.

I enjoy seeing Burt looking so happy and Queen Mag and oPrometheus walking together. The Pucky’s eye view is quite nice.

Puckmosis: Ah, a lovely spring morning in the desert. And later this day I’ll partake of Thomios’s dessert buffet.

Enter two chickadees

Puck: Hello, bird friends. Aren’t you Queen Mags’ messengers, Twitter and I Gram?

Twitter: That is so, friend Puckmosis. We bring news from Afar.

Puck: I hope all is well. There isn’t trouble brewing, is there?

I Gram: Not at the moment, but we have run somewhat low on tea for brewing.

Puck: Not a problem. I’m sure Thomios has plenty of tea in the kitchen to give you.

Sound of Giggling in the Background

Puck: In fact I’m sure beyond a shadow of doubt.

Twitter: That is a relief. But we do need to speak with Queen Catshepsut on behalf of Queen Mags.

Puck Then come join us for lunch. Thomios has a great supply of berries and seeds. And you can speak with the Queen there.

Gram: It would be an honor and a pleasure.

Ah yes, the amazement of nature being nature.

Being a night shift chickadee must be rough work! I hope they’re not bothered by Puck being there and can get some rest.

When one of our ‘masters of the universe’ is on the dresser watching the world out the window and I try petting, I get a “can’t you see I’m busy” look…
