Why does Kip want to extend their conversation when he knows Tiffany is working and can’t stop to chitchat. I suppose this extended conversation is to give Stefini time to find them. Snore.

Lemme get this straight: the DeGroots own a business called “The Fuse”. “Cafe Kaboodle” is a separate entity within The Fuse, for which TJ pays rent. So…just WHO do Tiff and Ox work for: TJ or the DeGroots?? I had always thought they were wait staff for The Fuse!

Give it up Tiff, you’re WASTING your time with Klueless Kip as I fear he has had one too many on-field concussions.

And don’t call Ox unless you’re going to ask him out on a date.

I’m not judging Tiffany nor Kip. It appears that more between is coming, but misdirection day is tomorrow, so we see. Steph might show for instance. As for Ox, I’m sure he will comply, except its misdirection Wednesday coming. Anything could happen. Wait for the arc to unfold.

In that last picture Tiff looks like ‘Large Marge’ the truck driver with her eyes bugged out like that

I’m no expert, but it seems like a bad choice to let the first panel show The Fuse from outside, instead of letting us see Kip and Tiffany talking. At least two thirds of today’s dialogue is presented without their faces, meaning that we miss all the emotion of Tiff and Kip’s expressions. It’s hard to see any reason that the image of a brick building would contribute more than the people the story is about.

What comes after desserts? More talking or the horizontal bugaloo? Is Tiff willing to go that far?

Tiffany is completely smitten with Kip. The thought of being alone with him makes her impatient. I’m happy for her. It looks like things with Kip are going the way she always hoped.

How about you ask him instead of assuming he’ll do it?

Better to finish her shift and meet later, to show responsibilty and not overly eagerness.

Is Kip looking for dessert like he had with Stephanie, with Tif already?

Am I the only one rooting for Tiff here? Get some!

At the end of the week Tiff wakes up and realizes this entire arc was a dream. Kip wanted notta to do with her.

The suggestion of dessert sure got Tiffany’s attention LOL! So are they going to sit there having a treat together while Ox works her tables?? That’s odd. But it does provide the delay needed for Stephanie to show up and give him back his high school ring. Wouldn’t it be great if this whole thing was just a plot that Stephanie and Kip devised to get some of Tiffany’s money?

Share more…like dessert? My IQ’s dropping just from exposure to this moron. Pin a dollar to his shirt and put him on the bus to Stefi’s.

Tiffany sure is coming off desperate here. This can only end in heartbreak for her. Kip simply is not that invested in her. If he was his responses to her aggressive flirting and her offering to be his next girlfriend would not be so passive and weak. He just seems to be floundering after his breakup and doesn’t seem to feel anything much for Tiffany. She’s just there and available! And I fear he will try to rush her into a physical relationship that she will mistake for true intimacy and caring. This is just BAD.

I’ll take back every criticism I’ve made of this strip if this arc ends with Tiffany getting her cheeks clapped. But we all know the status quo will remain unchanged, so it’s a safe bet.

I realize we are dealing with two fictional comic strip characters here, but these two really make me want to scream.

Hey….I think Kip is about to “get lucky,” and Tiff will (like Madeline Kahn and Teri Garr in “Young Frankenstein”) will burst out into “AHH, SWEET MYSTERY OF LIFE…AT LAST I’VE FOUND YOU!!!!”

Having seen how Tiff treats his pal Ox, Kip loses all interest….

Yesterday,Table 17 pitched a tent.

They mis-spelled “lasagna” twice, but they made their basic point

A man I dated when I was her age ended our relationship because I spoke to someone in that tone. The Kindest thing he could have done for me, I miss him.

Oh this is fun, not gonna end well probably, but definitely fun, plot twist, where’s the plot twist, it’s gotta be here somewhere ! ;-)

How can OX cover her shift if he’s already on shift?

It was commendable that Kip recognized Tiff should finish her shift.

Tyical. Taking advantage of a guy who (most likely) likes her just to get with the other guy.

This is sadly showing the excessively needy side of Tiffany…. which is rather sad. She is in many ways “willing to give it all up” for the attentions of a man. Even though exaggerated a bit, the fact that she doesn’t simply arrange to meet Kip after her shift is done speaks volumes about her rampant insecurities.

In my opinion, the story are is STILL focused on having us learn and understand Tiffany’s psyche due to her upbringing of having her Dad be “present” in the form of monetary support, but an “absentee father” in terms of emotional support and guidance.

So…. I am kind of thinking Tiffany and Kip will become better friends within this arc, but it will not (yet anyhow) blossom into an actual “romance” at this time.

And, I still am waiting for the other shoe(s) to drop…. Tiffany hugs Kip in a friendly gesture just before TJ fires Tiffany, AND Stefanie waltzes in just in time to see the embrace.

We are now entering “tele-novella” territory. :)
