Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be

When it comes to cooking TJ really knows what to do. Even a bad cake can become a masterpiece and Brad can always say he did his part. Tomorrow we’ll see what Toni thinks.
Cake pops are like cupcakes on a stick. You don’t have to deal with peeling the paper off. They are very popular here in the southeastern United States
So is Brad going to lie to Toni and pretend this was all his doing, or is he going to be upfront about the fact that he messed his plan up and then TJ had to step in and salvage everything while he whined the whole time?
TJ is quite the chef but why is he always bailing Brad out? Toni will know that this is all TJ, same as at Christmas. I don’t think it’s productive to always show Brad being so foolish about Toni. At what point is he going to get a clue? His relationship with his wife seems very immature, he acts like a sixteen year old boy instead of a grown man. Seems to me it would get tiresome after a while.
To me, I am a little surprised that this is ultimately what TJ made. DO NOT get me wrong… they are cute and romantic. But, I was imagining that TJ was getting into being more EXOTIC and CREATIVE in his efforts than just cake pops. The bouquet, though, is cute and should prove a win for Brad in terms of a show of Valentines affection for Toni.
Will Toni THINK Brad actually made them….. or will she realize how unrealistic that is and know it is the work of TJ?
So curly hair and a smile makes him look “effeminate”? All of the other females in this comic strip except Nancy and Mrs. Horner have wavy or string-straight hair.
I’ve come up with a ranking of stories here. Best are stories involving Luann because she is the central character, the reason why I come to this strip. At one remove are stories involving Tiffany or Gunther. These two are not Luann but are contemporaries and have long been part of Luann’s life. At a second remove are Frank, Nancy and Bernice. Frank and Nancy are her parents, not contemporaries and do little except to remind her that she’s a failure. Bernice is in this group because all she does is tell Luann “:You’re wrong” At three removes are Brad and Toni. They are older and married and not contemporaries either. They don’t life with Luann and their stories have nothing to do with Luann. Shannon is at a fourth remove because she has nothing to do with Luann and is annoying to boot.
All of which is to say that I couldn’t give a rat’s patootie to this week’s story. I don’t care whether Toni is pregnant or not. And the continued incompetence of Brad is galling.
Anyway that’s my opinion. Your Mileage May Vary.

Brad, just be sure to tell Toni that you tried to make her a cake. She’ll appreciate it much more than if you lie to her.

T. J.’s looking rather effeminate these days. How come he is never seen with a date (either sex) and remains true to his 1986 Prince-era haircut?
