I just noticed that the People Kids, Iggy and OZ are all wearing the same pajamas. How adorable is that?

I fear that Puck and Elvis are under the control of the aliens. They may be commanded to open the door. If so, will the blanket fort be enough to save the kits? Or will the be doomed?

Why do I not trust Ora Zella?

It was a good idea to get into the blanket fort. Blankets provide protection from monsters, and those alien Roombas count as monsters.

Oh dear. We’ve been assuming that Lupin has been protected because he can’t hear the signal. Once Iggy breaks the code so that Lupin can see it, will he come under the spell, too?

Maat-Tilda: And there’s a whole group of hieroglyphs.

Iggy: I think these two are vowels. This one that appears by itself must be an I.

Adobe Style: I think you’re right. And I’m guessing this other vowel must be an E.

Beatrixia: So this line right here reads:

Iggy: And some of the consonants appear multiple times. Like the consonants at the end of the first word are the same as those at the beginning of the second and next-to-last words.

Bea: So let’s use x and y for the consonants. I would look like this:

Tillie: And the first letter of the first word is the same as the first letter of the last word. So let’s call that letter z. Our sentence would be:

I love that last panel. Lupin’s trying so hard. He may be a toddler and a force of chaos, but he’s such a good boy. You can see he’s worried in every panel, but he’s still trying to keep everyone upbeat and focused. Even with mind-controlled Elvis and Puck wandering around in the background, which is a great touch.

Go, Iggy, go! You’ve got this! Look at your clever flashcards (probably sticky notes?) all lined up.

So seriously…how long until Ora Zella just opens the door? C’mon, we all know it’s going to happen by the end of this. ;)

The end of the Pumpkin story was near

Great job Lupin! Directing everyone to safety, and being a calm voice of reason and assurance. It’s not we haven’t seen him take charge and be protective in the past. He just tends to be a little more chaotic about it.

KEEP ORA ZELLA AWAY FROM THAT DOOR!!!

I discovered BCN exactly 2 years ago, right when Iggy was discovered, so I feel a bond with him. So proud of my clever little guy!

Hopefully that door holds, they need to get puck and Elvis under the blanket as well

OT: Prayers Please

Everyone should make a blanket fort during an invasion. They make pretty good hideouts.

I cleaned the carpet today.

Not all of it; just the bits that have been “impacted” by Bella’s tummy troubles.

It took several years but I finally saw the episode, of “World’s Funniest Animals” with a kitten on a Roomba. I didn’t like the show because of all the commentary and because there were too many dogs and not enough cats, but I’ve finally given in and started watching. When I don’t have a full half-hour left before bedtime, I can watch any number of videos.

Uh… Where’s Ora Zella going?
