Aw, that last panel could be a calendar page all by itself! So busy, so happy, so warm!

Windows! Sunshine! Empty space!

It’s . . . the cats’ room?

(Of course, all the rooms are the cats’ rooms, but still . . .)

A Sun Great Lake! Lake Feline Recline! Low whistle right back at ya Ora!

Puck has apparently come around, drawn by the lure of the sun. But Elvis remains skeptical.

Sounds like these new rooms are all heaven.

Hey Goldie. I need a chart to figure out where this room is.

A sunroom! The most wonderful thing!

Even Pucky is ready to explore this room. Is it in the tower?

Looks like a study. If the Cats will let the Man use it. Or a Library. If they’ll let the others use it.

Ooh! We had a room like that in SF and called it a sun porch. It hung over the patio, so it didn’t have the insulating presence of the basement/garage. It was cold in winter, but it was a little better when we replaced the windows with energy-efficient ones.

Cats are solar-powered. My boys were on my dresser this AM. It is in front of a south window, and those get sun year-round.

Maybe this will become the woman’s office, and we will discover that she is a cartoonist!

Are those Ora Zella’s ears barely showing next to Lupin in panel 2?

A last hidden rooma nd one for all cats and small children to enjoy. I assume this is going to be a sitting room or something.

I want a room like that!

In panel three, I love how the Girl is trying to climb down from the Woman’s arms, lol!

I love this one, and I’m so happy for all the reporters. After all the struggles and stress of the new half, they found their nirvana.

Well. PK is in pain, quite a bit of it located in her lower back, I don’t dare pet past her shoulders. I had a local vet come to the house, I dare not move her too much. Little PK is so brave. The Vet thinks she has a spinal injury and that her Quality of Life will decline quickly. I made an appointment for her time to pass, which will be this afternoon. I am beyond sad, I’ll miss my little Pickle. Going to work should take my mind off it, but I’ll be thinking of her all day and our time together. I have a nice spot out back close to the house right next to her son Chester, they’ll be together again.

I love OZ’s “low whistle” in panel 3.

I count all six cats in panel four. My favorite details are Puck being ready to explore, the Girl and Ora Zella reaching out to each other, and Iggy and Goldie lounging together.

I guess that’s sort of a turret or a big bay? Now I am doing the architecture thing.

Puckmosis: Well, here we are at the Midnight Oasis. Kara and Vann, do you want to bed down for the night?

Vann: Sure, right after a bit of grazing and watering.

Elvis-Anum: I wonder if those Desert Rats are around.

Puck: I hope so. Now that they’ve given up thieving and switched to selling you-know-what.

Enter Amon-Merchant and Azibo, spice merchants

Violet-Ifa: Hello, guys! Do you have any of your items for sale?

Amon: Sure do. Although we have to be very careful about mentioning them.

Puck: Tomorrow we’re going to stop at Floofnet’s Ceiling Can Be a Floor Culinary School for breakfast.

(I finally got the phrase right)

Azibo: Then you’ll want our sugar and cinnamon combo. And maybe some nutmeg as well.

Bea: And let’s bring some, uh things to Afar as well.

Violet: Alright! Let’s bargain.

Amon: We can always count on a fair deal from you.

Has Georgia had her hand surgery? Did she post any updates on how she is doing?

Ora Zella is actually stunned into a low whistle.

Time for the kittehs to get recharged.

What a beautiful room! I wonder if this will become the Girl’s room, as I don’t believe the Nursery has a window. I’m pretty sure the Boy’s new room (currently storage) has a window, so this would be fair.

Ther was an old realtor’s commercial from TV (Century 21, maybe?) – where kids acted as actual realtors. Their selling point was:

" It’s got – High Ceilings ! … Low Floors ! … And a PLAY ROOM for the Kids !! " … :)

( In this case – It’d be for the KITTIES !! ) … :)

It’s the Drill Sergeant room! As soon as they hit a sunbeam, it’s “Drop and give me 40…winks…”

It’s like Georgia found out a childhood fantasy of mine and wrote a story about it :D

That room is simply glorious! It’s easily the best one, in my opinion.

This is behind the door at one end of the “T” hall. I see another door behind the woman that would be at the other end of the T. I don’t think we’re done yet.

I’m sorry—-

For all of us in the Mississippi valley from Minnesota down past Arkansas, be safe and ready to take cover. The storm system heading our way looks capable of spawning tornados, straight line winds, hail etc. and further north there is a blizzard warning. Yikes! Keep the weather channels open!

Two windows? No curtains? At last, science will learn whether a cat’s solar battery can overcharge.

Speaking of solariums and places without cats. (See my reply to @Jacob Mattingly above). I recently watched an interesting movie on Amazon Prime titled: The Electrical Life of Louis Wain." The extraordinary true story of eccentric British artist Louis Wain (played by Benedict Cumberbatch), whose playful, sometimes even psychidelic pictures, helped to transform the public’s perception of cats forever. Interesting movie, sad at times. I wonder about Mr. Wain and whether he was autistic, based on his drawings. Probably worth a view. Included with Prime, if you have it.

This is like those dreams where you suddenly discover more rooms in your house that you didn’t realize were there. (or is that just me?)
