O.M.C…..NOOOOOO! Georgia, you’re killing me with this storyline. I haven’t gotten to bed on time in the last few weeks. i just can’t wait for the next broadcast to find out what is going to happen next. This is just too danged stressful!
At least I finally got an answer to my “where’s Alice?” comments. Baba and Grandmags are never going to forgive themselves for taking their eyes off Magazine!
I see Agnes, Alice and Violet but who or what is standing next to Violet? Is it a mole? I see some red dots on it. It’s just very indistinct and it’s not like Georgia to make something so hard to identify.
I gotta say that Wicket’s technique is TERRIBLE: a skilled raptor would be closing in with his claws out, not beak first. All little Mag has to do is waaaiiiit for him to close in, do a quick side-step, and listen for the soul satisfying SMACK as he makes an epic face plant in the grass.
I don’t know, to me, the look on Mag’s face in that last panel is almost determination, not fear, but what do I know? Like she’s going to stand her ground and take Wicket on.
Some windy and wet weather this weekend has provided Roy with days of endless entertainment, protecting the home from the leaves. He is exhausted and sleeping in late this morning.
I’m confused about Wicket’s strategy. Obviously, he is coming in at an angle that puts the moon right behind him, making him highly visible. (If he had the sun at his back, he would be hidden by its glare.) Is this on purpose to instill terror in Mag? Or did Georgia just think the shadow on the ground was a cool effect?
This is the most scared I’ve been in BCN since the Man found Tillie’s remains (until he told the Woman the kitty’s death had been instant, I was afraid it would be unbearably sad).
OH MY CAT—in all of my own excitement for this particular strip, I forgot to draw Queen Magnet’s crown!! (Laughing face palm…) I’ll fix it before this goes into a book!
I’m so glad everyone is excited for today’s strip! I’m counting down to the next one posting myself, I hope you’ll all enjoy it!
Am I the only one who looks at panels 3 and 5 and hears the sound effect of a World War II German Stuka dive bomber? The Germans purposely equipped those planes with ram-air sirens on the wheel carriages to make that terrible noise.
1. That would have to be a very bright crescent moon to give Wicket such a shadow. (Picky, picky, picky.)
2. In the last panel, Wicket has his face screwed up as if he is in pain, completely different from the third panel.
3. The white and blue streak in panel four is in front of him, not behind, indicating something going toward him, NOT the disturbed air of his passage. It also looks as if something is hitting him in the beak/nose.

Somehow you just know Wicket is about to get his. It’s just a matter of who plays the role of Maxwell Edison. BANG BANG!

Even though Mag is in a lot of danger, I have to say, that is a GREAT shot by Alice there in the last panel.

Coldplay: Viva La Vida
I used to rule the skies
Mice would tremble whenever I flew by
Now I need to clear the field
But the wildlife refuses to yield!
…….
I ruled the wildlife
Feel the fear in Her Majesty’s eyes
Listen as the moles would sing,
As they unquestioningly followed
Their head-injured king
One minute I held the key
Then my enemies stood up to me
And I discovered that my one last chance
Is one last attack as they all look askance!
…….
I hear the resistance moles all digging
The mice and the raccoons are rigging
They all stand and look aghast
But somehow I know they’ll prevail at last
And for some reason that I can’t explain
I know Mags and Baba will call my name
Never an honest owl,
But they will all prevail somehow!

Young raccoon, the object
Of Wicket’s lunacy
He’s acting so badly
Since she foamed Monty
Just like him, he’s wronging
This kit covered in page
By flying, he’s so close now
He’s welcome as the mange
Don’t fly, don’t fly so
Don’t fly so close to ’Zine
Don’t fly, don’t fly so
Don’t be so stinkin’ mean

Will Princess Mag become a bowl of Raccoon Chowder?
Will Montague be tried and convicted of war crimes?
Will the BCN crew finally win that most sought after Pulitzer Prize award?
Will Grand Mag find love among the possums?
Find out the answer to these and other riveting questions tomorrow on, AS THE LITTER BOX TURNS.
