Sophie, spreading love through the art of socks. Lost, then reunited again because of the creativity of one special little cat! That’s why we all love Sophie! I assume.
I recently saw a YouTube video saying that it’s actually washing machines that can eat socks. The repair guy found one stuck in the washing machine’s pump. It worked much better after he removed it.
It has been said that socks are the larval form of wire coat hangers. Which explains why socks seem to disappear and wire coat hangers mysteriously multiply in your closet.
However, deliberately mis-matched socks can be purchased in many catalogs and stores. I’ve even seen them in large packs of a dozen. Certainly is a laundry day timesaver.
In a world of disappearing socks, one sock detective named Sophie was determined to solve the mystery. Sophie, a no-nonsense cat, had always wondered why socks disappeared after entering the washing machine. Armed with a magnifying glass and a keen sense of smell, Sophie took the case. After investigating, she discovered a secret passage behind the drum leading to “Sockland,” a place where all the lost socks lived freely. The moral of the story? Sometimes you have to look beyond the obvious to find what you’re missing!
not so much OT as late: I understand the Year of the Dragon, but can someone explain the “wood dragon” part. Is it a different kind of dragon every 12 years? What kind was 2012?
Thomas was the subject of scripture today at church. The pastor said Thomas didn’t doubt. He just wanted to be absolutely sure because of the persecution he would face.
Best way to avoid problems with matching socks? Only buy one kind of sock and buy a dozen pairs. Then you don’t have to match them. They are all the same.

Socks are tribute to the Dryer Ghods. To be a bit more complete, the book Lord Demon has an alternate dimension comprised mainly of unmated socks.

Early the Next Morning
Floofnet the Joyous: Welcome Friends! You’re just in time for Patrice Possum’s Brekkie from Down Under.
Puckmosis: Can’t wait to eat. Are we having bacon with breakfast?
Patrice: Of course. It wouldn’t be breakfast without bacon and ham.
Floofnet: And we have plenty of plants in the forage garden for Kara and Vann.
Patrice: So how’s my cousin Obadiah?
Beatrixia: He’s doing fine. He’s been a tremendous help with cataloging the new scrolls at the oPyramid.
Patrice: Wonderful. That used to be the You Call That a Pyramid, wasn’t it.
Bea: That’s right. And now we’re headed to Afar to see some newly discovered first edition scrolls by Erma Bombosis.
Patrice: That’s lovely. I’ve always enjoyed her scroll The Grass is Always Greener at the Next Oasis.
