I’m all for renovating in ways that will preserve unique and beautiful architecture and I hate that where I live they tear down these beautiful buildings from the 1800s and put the most bland and cookie cutter apartment buildings in their place. But windows? Will no one think of the insulation?

Georgia, while I realize it is Memorial Day, are you really wanting the cats to recreate the Great Escape? If you don’t lock them away in a room for a while the opening being cut to install the window will be their “TOM”. I must admit that the sight of Ora Zella on a kids tricycle trying to jump the flower bed border fence will be humorous, remember what happened to a large number of the escapees.

I hope it’s only Sophie’s window being installed, and not an earthquake.

When I first glanced at the strip, before reading any text, I wondered if there had been a mistake with the printing! A very neat way to show the feeling of having your house sawed in half. Sort of like the Star Trek Shimmie for cartoon art!

“Sawing the Big Pink House in half” is what it’s felt (& sounded) like in my building for weeks, LOL! Lupin is lucky he only feels it…

Lupin, Bartholomew agrees with you completely. Tin foil rules! Of all the toys we give him, Bart loves nothing more than a tin foil ball. He races around tirelessly chasing one. And he looks so proud of himself as he carries his prize to place it on the floor in front of a person so that we might throw it again. And the cycle repeats.

There are times when Georgia’s skill boggles. This is one of them. I almost get vertigo looking at panels 2 and 4—and I rarely get motion sick unless I’m already sick.

I wonder if Sophie’s people are doing the work themselves or have someone doing it for them. If they hired someone, I wonder if the roofers from a couple of years ago do work besides roofing. They were big fans of Lupin.

What I want to know is, is that supposed to be OZ’s tail puffed up in the right hand corner above the desk of panel 3? If so, did someone forget to finish coloring it? That is so unlike Georgia that I am imagining it must be something else. Anyone?
