The Tortie Dreams of Midnight Ice Cream could be the title of a children’s picture book, maybe something akin to Sendak’s In the Night Kitchen. I can see Ora Zella, armed with a big spoon, chasing after huge runaway scoops of ice cream, screaming for sprinkies.
I love the “Papa” from OZ. Watching him raising the kits makes me wonder what it was like for Elvis and Puck raising Lupin. That would be a fun flashback. Like we’ve seen glimpses of Elvis taking care of baby Puck.
I’m sad to report that the Rainbow Bridge at Lake Lure, NC, where people were able to leave the collars of their late furbabies (Google it) has been destroyed by HeLLene (who needs the extra “L” in her name). Hopefully it can be rebuilt sometime in the future when other damages have been taken care of. Also, I hope the dock workers who are planning to go on strike will rethink—things are disrupted enough without their adding to the problem.
“Belly doesn’t listen to reason any more than I do”. Sounds a lot like Diesel when the vet told me to remove at least 20% of their food, which means no more night grazing. First morning, he pulled my hair. Big Cat put a stop to that right away. He’s learned that as soon as I get up, he gets food. But he has to be PATIENT. I know, he’s a cat.

Tum one needs a belly good reason to be up so late…

My belly also demands ice cream, with sprinkies. And there’s just no reasoning with your belly. It is the spoiled child of your body.
DorseyBelle about 2 months ago
Since I stayed up so late, I get to be the first to say BoCH and RSoOZTB!

I actually had ice cream for dinner. Cherry Garcia and chocolate. So I would say OZ can have ice cream, too.
maggijoseph Premium Member about 2 months ago
My belly frequently demands ice cream, sprinkles very optional—and there is NO reasoning with it.

Offer the belly a nice crunchy carrot.

Look at all the toe beans in panel 3. The squeeers are gonna lose their minds.

Wouldn’t it be more feline to say:
Little kitty up WAY past bedtime.
Ora Zella, it’s two minutes to noon!!

OZ should be happy she’s not a diabetic. I must ignore my stomach’s request for ice cream.
My cats would want mice scream.

LOL, and here I am reading this at two minutes to midnight!
I also stay up way past bedtime, if you couldn’t tell. :P

I’ve been up since 10 pm and I’m not a ice creamer…please do not hate me!! I prefer yogurt!

Have I missed something about OZ’s right paw all this time? Am I only now catching on to bonus toe beans? Or is there something I’m not reading right?

Meanwhile, Back on the Nile
At Floofnet the Joyous’ Culinary School
Beatrixia: That was a delicious breakfast, Floof. My compliments to you and your chefs.
Floof: Always a pleasure. I’d like to go back on your return trip. If a Thing is going to happen, the more chefs the better.
Bea: I’m sure Thomios and Sue Chef would be delighted to see you.
Violet-Ifa: And maybe your sous chef Patrice Possum would like to come.
Ta-Natash: Sure. Her cousin Obadiah Opossum would love to see his Cousin from Down Under.
Kara Camel: Everyone ready? Off to Afar.
Meanwhile, Back in Egypt
Puckmosis: I’m glad Baba-Stet is here to show us how to prepare for a possible Thing.
Iggy: We learned a thing or two at sea about Things.
Elvis: First and foremost, prepare the meal!
Iggy: Exactly! Your pirate corsair training serves you well.
Puck: Here’s Baba-Stet. Baba?
Baba: I think the best thing to do right now is go on a journey up the mountain.
Elvis: And do we pray?
Baba: We can. But then we order our favorite sundaes from the Kat Kiosk.

Is the word SPRiNKiES something Georgia said as a child; or could it be that one of her kids said it that way when they were younger?
