McColl and the rest of you guys who can read parts of these messages must be geniuses. I used to do cryptography and ciphers when I was a kid, but I didn’t even attempt these.
Will some Orbster who indexes BCN please find the strip(s) of Burt in his control room with his multiple screens? In particular, the one showing Our IX Lives?
Answer: To clean carpets and there is no carpet filthier than in a house filled with cats (and other assorted animals). Theirs is the Holy Grail of dirty carpets.
What do they want?
Answer: A clean carpet is a sign of godliness. They are trying to achieve a higher state of being.
When are they leaving?
Answer: (When the author darn well pleases for them to leave.) The fans clamored for more Roomba stories, and they are getting what they want. When the surlier fans start complaining about the unrelenting vacuum-related humor, then they leave with a veritable treasure trove of cat fur and the gratitude of every Roomba-loving fan out there.
If it’s a simple translation code, then assuming english as the base language, the most common symbol would be an E. any a symbol on it’s own will be either an I or an A. Three characters ending in the E symbol is most likely THEFrom there you can start to fill in blanks and make sense of the code.
English huh? I would have guessed Roombas spoke Java, lucky break for the pink house dwellers. Iggy makes me think… Seems like there is more going there than meets the casual glance.
Don’t opens the door? But that steenky disky robot is already opens door and them steenky green disky flying robots from outer space already inside the building.
Why is they here? Obveeously they here to serve man, cat, and raccoons too. If only they would serves them steenky mice too but you knows them steenky mice is the first to leaves a steenky sinking ship and them steenky cowards is already runs away and nowhere to be seen.
What use if it a vowel or a consonant when you is not knows aliens language? How’d you even knows if theirs language is has vowels? How you knows if it gots alphabets or it phonetic or sometheeng completely different altogethers?
Our IX Lives has been mentioned a few times. Wouldn’t it be funny if after the roombas are banished back to … wherever … and the “adults” snap out of their trances, completely unaware of what happened, that we see them all watching an Our IX Lives storyline about aliens? And the adults thinking it is too unbelievable of a story (even for a soap opera). And the kits just thinking …
Maybe I missed a post, but seems like a long time since we’ve heard from @TampaFanatic1, like before Milton. I know things are bad and they might be busy with cleanup, but I hope they’re okay.
GoComics post a list of pumpkin related strips today, got to the Best Of menu at the top and select Comic Lists. It includes the BCN strip that was dedicated to Robin.

Umm, WHY does Ora Zella want to open the door? Maybe instead of concentrating on the U symbol, we should make sure that she DOESN’T open the door!

Roombas in the night, rudely advancing
Closer in the night
What were the chances Ora’d let them in
Before the night was through?
Something in her soul found them exciting
Something in her mind thought “dynamiting”
Something in her heart
Told her to let them through
All throughout that night, kits work together
Trying with their might, Iggy’s so clever
Hope all turns out right
With roombas in the night

Meanwhile, Back on the Nile
Maat-Tilda: I found a tapestry depicting a story lost in futurity.
Adobe Style: It appears to be a large group of vacuums in a Big Pink House.
Sophititi: In fact, it seems to be the house where many of our descendants live.
Tillie: I think it’s time for a visit to Beatrixia’s library.
At the Pretty Good Library
Tillie: So this is the tapestry. These emeralds seem to represent vacuums, like the ones our descendants use.
Bea: There may be some scrolls about what went on then. Here is one from Ora Zella:
All of a sudden it seemed like the grownups wanted to make cleaning the carpets the top priority. Except for Lupin.
Bea: Iggy writes about their strange script that he worked to decode.
Adobe: We may want to call in our coding expert, Violet-Ifa.
Soph: Good idea.
Violet-Ifa: Yes, a very good idea.
Tillie: How did you get here so fast?
All the Royal Procurers: We’ll never tell!

Roombas. Roombas. Roombas, they are everywhere.
Roombas. Roombas. Roombas noisily fill the air.
Louder. Louder. Louder is their blasting blare
and there’s no safety in the night.
Roombas. Roombas, light seen three miles away.
Five. six. seven beyond that they say.
Roombas. Roombas multiplying more each day
and there’s no safety in the night.
Roombas. Roombas don’t try to seek them out.
Roombas. Roombas. Roombas flying all about.
Grab. Grab. Grab their rollers and wring them out.
’cause there’s no safety in the night.
Roombas. Roombas their good is only bad.
Flirting. Flirting. Flirting in the air above.
Lupin. Lupin. Lupin says no, but you know Ora Zella.
and there’s no safety in the night.
Roombas. Roombas don’t you know the strain?
Roombas. Roombas. Please, please, please refrain
and listen [whir, whir] there they go again. Roombas. Roombas
and there’s no safety in the night.
[Gun shots]
