As much as I complain about the arcs lately, I have to admit they have an inordinate number of comments. Yesterday, as of this writing, was 550 comments. Somebody likes this.

Bummed each other out. Bern and Nil in a nil relationship. Breakout coming soon?

We’ve just finished an interminable story about Gunther, Bernice has had her own interminable story. Karen never writes a story for Luann. That leaves us with Tiffany (again) or maybe Brad and Toni.

I don’t even know why I read this comic anymore. Habit after so many years I guess. Bernice drives me nuts, I hate Bets. I know they are adults ne but sheesh.

Well what happens next? Like this is such an obvious direction play that these two clueless but passionate nerds will forget all parameters in a “private.”. So expect misdirection, although….

A lot of heavy breathing, gasping for air, sweating profusely, and that’s just coming from the readers’ comments. I think Bernice and Nil must be getting pretty turned on, too.

“Private” should be the last word that either one of them says until they get a lot of built up tension and attraction for one another released. However, once they do, there is a good chance that they discover that where they are is not so “private” and this time it will not be Puddles crashing the party. I guess we will find out on Monday but there is also a good chance that G&K switches arcs and we get a dose of Brad and Toni who have been off of the radar for awhile which also means possible appearances by our smiling friend TJ and Shannon.

Just wondering if Bernice and Nil will repeat what Bernice’s parents did. They had a child, Ben, that they put up for adoption “in the best interest of the child.” They later they got married and had Bernice. Naw—it’ll never happen. But wouldn’t it be strange if it did???

Let’s hope Bernice will soon realizes that making out is an important part of being herself and not something to be ashamed of. She will understand sooner or later… maybe right now ♡?! Nil is just trying to follow Bernice to make her happy. But this could make him unhappy, and very, VERY stressed.

I’m just reading this arc to see Nil’s other eye. Hopefully when they are in the throes of passion that hair will move out of the way. LOL

Ah. It looks like they’re starting to realise that parameters do not define ‘us’ and they have to figure out what ‘us’ is organically.

OK, Bets and Gunther are sorted as it would appear are Bernice and Nil. Is Jack at all interested in Luann and is Luann genuinely interested in Jack? Is Tara still around? Can Tiffany survive for much longer without kissing some guy or other?

Monday we see them in the back of the cop car, having been arrested for public lewdness and indecent exposure. The Degroots bail them out. Luann is salivating to find out the details.

This whole thing seems to have some “Big Bang Theory” overtones with Sheldon and the relationship agreement between himself and Amy Farrah Fowler.

I wonder if Nil’s other eye is like Popeye’s?

I think the " passion parameters " are about to be exceeded dramatically.

I have no idea what either one is thinking in the last panel. Bernice certainly will NOT break any rules so that limits their activities.

Uh oh! Who called this yesterday? The sweet part of this is that’s how it is——you can try to be rational but as Oscar Wilde once said “the heart wants what it wants”.

Passion Parameters or Parental Preparation

The location may seem private, but they are still out in public where kids and cops could walk by.

Thang goodness its Saturday and hopefully the end of this part of the arc. Maybe next week we will have the fallout of Bern lying to her supposed BBF Luann.

If there were any two characters I DON’T want to see get passionate, they’re it. Can’t we have a new storyline?

Now that they have rules, they can push them, bend them, and shatter them.

I feel they are about to break some of those parameters.
