I must slightly disagree Dez. It’s the difference between destiny and fate. Destiny is the the path we take based on our choices. Fate is the unforseen happenstance beyond our control. That being said however; you can choose your own destiny. But you can’t choose someone else’s. Sorry Tiff.

Will Dez get out her Destiny Deck? And will she read some advice from it that nobody can undertand until its too late for it to be of any use?

I don’t think there will be another roommate for Stef other than Kip. It’s being left open in case Bets comes back. But I don’t think Bets is coming back. I think she’s going to stay in Canada. I think we have seen the last of her except in Gunther’s thoughts and memories. I think the Stef, Kip, Tiff triangle will go on for a few years our time, at least until G&K decided that it is time for them all to be 21.

I like Dez, because she brings calm and common sense into the Luann universe. But, According to the Oxford Dictionary, destiny is “the events that will necessarily happen to a particular person or thing in the future” or “the hidden power believed to control what will happen in the future” 1. It can also be defined as “a predetermined course of events often held to be an irresistible power or agency felt that destiny would determine their future” Since there really isn’t any “destiny” Tiff is right to believe that she has at least some control of how future events will play out.

Tiffany – If Kip breaks up with Stef – YOU are not the only woman around.

Desperate delusions there, Tiff. Snap out of it. Both of you are wrong. You can make your own destiny as opposed to the word as foreseen or preplanned, etc, but you can’t force your destiny on others as in forcing Kip to be part of your destiny, Tiff. Kip will make his own destiny. You can choose your path, make your own choices, etc, and your choices will determine where you go just as Kip will make his own and he might not choose you. Don’t waste your time thinking Kip is your destiny. Live for yourself.

The key word for Kip Lee is the energy of athleticism?

The quality of writing is certainly in freefall. First The Evanses fail to develop the airport scene and now they’re spinning our wheels watching Tiffany babble like an idiot. If Stef isn’t punted by the end of this arc, it’s time to move on.

Or maybe destiny don’t exist and if you want to be with Kip, you just need to work at it. Tiffany is making up a story, Kip certainly finds her interesting and refined, but I doubt he’ll leave Stef for her. I think Dez is gently trying to makes her see the truth. She understands that Kip won’t leave Stef or that, even if he did, Tiffany wouldn’t make a good life choice in being with him. Let’s hope that Tiffany and Gunther meet soon, compare their illusions, he about his story that has now ended, she about this one that will never begin and then they can admit to each other how things really are.By the way, congratulations to Karen Evans for being the New President of the National Cartoonists Society.

In high school she was going to be a famous movie star. That disappeared when she went to college.

In college she used to imagine she was going to be a wealthy tycoon. That disappeared when Bets stopped pushing her into business stuff.

More recently she fantasized that her Daddy would spend time with her. Now he’s away from home permanently.

Now she’s reduced to fantasizing about a jock.

Sad, really.

Boring. This story has gone on way too long. Greg and Karen are back to flogging their mule. They seem totally incapable of actually resolving any of their stories and it gets tiresome waiting for an actual anything. Maybe they need to publish all the endings in a novella so they can charge their fans money again.

Tiff is behaving like a woman in love with life, embracing all it offers. Ivlax sounds like a man who has never got to know a feisty life-affirming woman. Kip, as young and dum as he be, seems to be her first crush. Why is anyone hating on a silly teenager?

And tomorrow we meet their new roomie Destiny, a woman that manages to be the perfect combination between Stef’s s*x appeal and Tiff’s sophistication that Kip’s been looking to wife up

You all seem to forget that Kip is a 19 or 20-something Football jock; he PROBABLY would not be in the market for his lifetime partner yet. What Post-Teen boy is turning down what Stef is throwing ALL THE TIME. Like some of the comments, I would prefer that Stef was showing what she learned at Cheer camp; and I am still team Tiff/Kip . Stef is just so shallow and mean it’s kind of not fair that she win on this one. I would love to see her finally get hers. I feel a little sorry for Tiffany.

The only thing that appeals to Tiff about Kip is his looks and that he belongs to Steff. We don’t know much about him except that he enjoys the slutty side of Steff.

Many people here refer to Kip as spineless or wimpy. I think he is more toxic than that. Who in their right mind would be interested in a guy who admits to another girl that he’s just not as interested in his girlfriend as she is in him, behind her back no less, and then goes into the histrionics displayed in the strips earlier this week? It’s like cheating with a married man. Do you really believe he won’t do the same to you?

Reminds me of the high school Tiffany that did her best to steal boys from Luann.
