I have SO been waiting for Ora Z to go on a Santa hunt, or elves, reindeer etc. Tiny Santa Under Glass. It’s what all the hip and chaotic kitties are having this year!

There’s the Ora Zella we all know and love!

Puck is taking care of one of tasks on yesterday’s to-do list.

I do have to say…..As a Chaotic Uncle…..Even I wouldn’t make up “facts” about Santa. Teach the kids rude, but not dirty, songs, YES. Buy them the loadest, most obnoxious toys, YOU BETCHA. But never would I add to Santa’s Lore!

And Lupin just realized how he done screwed up.

I’m pretty sure that whatever OZ plans for Santa is going to make Lupin feel far worse than those love-taps Puck gave him.

If you have to tell someone it’s a burn, it isn’t.

*I wrote this sentence and then spent ten minutes thinking about and looking up whether it should be “further” or “farther” and I think either would be fine, but “further” perhaps implies a figurative distance as opposed to a physical one. What do all y’all feel about that?

I love the last panel.

I would also think “chaotic uncle” was a compliment.

Recently I accompanied Albert’s Man to a big family gathering. He offered to drive his eldest niece back to college and she asked if we could also take her friend. When the friend arrived and some introductions were made, she asked “How many uncles do you have?” Albert’s Man explained “He’s the goofy uncle. He’s the handsome uncle. I’m the cool uncle.” Niece said “That tracks.”

But he could have just as easily described himself as the chaotic uncle and it would have been equally accurate.

I don’t really know why they think Lupin is making things up, in the poem by Clement Moore which seems to be what we in the US at least have based a lot of our Santa lore on he states it is " a miniature sleigh and eight tiny rein-deer", so obviously at some point Santa is small but then to provide normal human size toys there must be some kind of size shifting…..

Lupin, you can’t just make up lore on the spot! You have to carefully hand it down from the people who originally made it up!

OT: Georgia just posted this: “The Girl had her tonsils out yesterday, and is home recovering with a lot of rest, ice cream, toy-buddies, and a little bell. She’s staying in my room for a few days, so she doesn’t have to sleep alone and to make giving meds around the clock easier. To cheer her up, I set up the Tommybaum. She asked if it could be on her nightstand, and there it glowed all night. This year I switched out the C9s sadly because they partially burned part of the cone last year C7s/C9s lights are my favorites, but it felt unsafe to chance them with the cone again. So, new safer lights twinkled, sparkling with ✨peace of mind. ✨ (I thought I’d mention it in case anyone else out there has paired C7s or C9s with their cone—please keep an eye on those if you have!) Do you have a Tommybaum up this year? I would love to see it, if you do! Post of photo of it in the comments or use the hashtag #Tommybaum when you share it! I finally noticed it by saying “wait, what’s that brown bit; nobody here has brown paws. Here’s two black paws, one white paw… aha! there’s the other white paw, and the brown bit is Lupin’s sleeve!”
