Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Tiny, behind-the-bureau, waving toe-beans! Squeee! You know, after all that talk about how to pronounce Byour-roe/boo-row, wouldn’t most of us just call it a chest of drawers? (Pronounced chesta-drors)
♫ We’re sending our love behind the bureau! ♪ Reminds me of that episode of The Simpsons where a little boy was thought to be fallen down a well: https://youtu.Be/nbhiLbT_yGo?t=46
Did anybody else experience difficulty getting to GoComics starting around 2:30 AM EST? I was commenting on a post when it went down. Two of the detector sites I checked said it was up for everyone but me, but two others gave me the spinning arrow and never decided whether it was down or not.
If they all yell loud enough, the Woman will come to see what is going on.
OT: I finally remembered what I was going to say yesterday: I’ve decided to take up tatting. Does anybody here tat, and did they find it at he!!ishly difficult as I am just to get started?
My newest and littlest cat, Babydoll, fell of and got stranded behind the refrigerator. I had to move first a dresser (yes, a dresser), then a hutch cabinet, and finally she was able to walk out on her own. Cats make for some exercise for you; know the gym instructions “and repeat”? She did it again this past week.
Notice the change in emphasis. First, Puck speaks in capitals and is answered in small. Next exchange, he’s in small and she’s in caps. The conversation ends with Puck in bold CAPS.

I mean, she seems to be fine. She’ll find her way out when she gets bored or no one is paying attention to her (really the same thing, right?)

OZ, Can you whistle a happy tune? Think happy thoughts! And in mixed musical metaphors, you can bravely fly away.

Wait … why does Ora Zella have to go all the way back up to top of the bureau? can’t she just, you know, walk either left or right to get out?

Too bad Trevor is too big to get in through the basement window. This is a job for a collie—border collie.

Puck, in the last panel, is the face of every parent of an ADHD child. Me, with ADHD, asking ADHD child: “Can you do A or B?” Child: “I can do X!!!”

Meanwhile, Back on the Nile
Iggy: I like the idea of an auditorium for the Happy Healthy Hospital Pyramid. Maybe Burt-Ra can help us with the planning.
Wally: And I’ll ask my many times great grandfather, Ahwil-Fixit for ideas.
Iron Glove: Sounds like a plan!
At the Ancient Egypt Senior Center
Awhil-Fixit the First: Wally! How’s my great great great great grandson?
Wally: I’m great, Gramps. You know my friends Iggy Shipwright and Iron Glove Shoutmunk!
Gramps: I do indeed. How are you boys?
Iggy: Just fine, sir.
Iron Glove: I’m better than great!
Gramps: Now Wally tells me you boys would like to create an auditorium for the Hospital Pyramid.
Iggy: That’s right, sir. The fundraiser went so well we thought they could do with a permanent auditorium.
Gramps: Well, now I seem to remember a room in the oPyramid that might do. And it’s not far from the hospital.
Wally: I knew that pyramid was better on the inside.
Gramps: What you might not know is that there is a large hall, and down the corridor to the right is a litter room.

Where has Ora Zella gone
And what exactly was the cause?
Is that streetwise li’l squeeze
Contained against all odds?
Can there ever be a calm night with no naughty deed?
Late last night, her fun took a turn
Now she dreams of being freed
What is a boo-roo?
Ora’s stuck behind a boo-roo ’til the end of the night
It won’t be long, ‘causd help’s gonna come fast
To rescue this fresh but tiny delight
She needs a hero
She whistles loud with cheer, oh, in the morning light
It’s diff’rent for sure, and it’s a lovely tune
With a sound that’s larger than life
She wishes she had a knife

Rogers and Hammerstein’s The King And I: Whistle a Happy Tune
When mischief is to be done
I hold my head up high
And whistle a happy tune
And everyone knows that I
Am going there!
…….
If there is someplace to hide
Or things to shred and tear
I whistle a happy tune
And destroy everything that is
Right there!
…….
The consequences are few because
I am really as cute as that
So when it comes to discipline
Who gets mad at a tiny cat?
…….
I whistle a happy tune
And everyone knows that I’m
Up to some type of crime
But mostly I do get away!
…….
Show people that you are cute
And you’ll get away by far
Because you are really as loved
As you don’t realize you are!
