My cats have been signaling “it’s bedtime, what’s keeping you?” at me, and I’ve been trying to explain that I need to know what’s happening with Sophie next, and then bedtime.

OKay so the good news is it seems Sophie’s Woman knows. The bad news, apaprently you can’t.. remotely check a chip to find out where a cat is? I do like we’re sending the best search party ever out at least.

How long before the Team has all of the woodlands looking for her as well? And then they can “free cat”. But i’m still pulling for Gutter to be the hero!

Oh, that sickening feeling when you realize that your indoor cat is now outdoors . . . and nowhere to be seen.

We can rest a bit better knowing the Holmes and Watson of catdom is on the case.

As sad as Sophie’s situation has made me feel, I have faith and trust in Beatrix and her team, and I truly do believe they will bring her safely home. I just don’t know if I can stand the suspense that will be generated while I’m waiting.

I hope they’ll take her to a vet for a checkup and the vet checks the chip and finds out that she’s lost. A chip check checkup…

I’m not quite sure I understand the meaning of them being “free cat.”

“Free kitty” indeed. The very definition of “a gift that eats.” Initial vet exam and blood work and shots, microchip, food, litter, toys, collar, tag, … and you’re easily out several hundred dollars in the first month, even if she’s already spayed.

This storyline is making me really anxious for some reason. I know everything will turn out fine. I worry too much.

Oh this is not going to go well. This adventure has all the makings of a remake of the movie Clue only as an animal version.

Go team! Find Sophie! This is a good crew for search and rescue, although I am curious if they will actually have to extricate Sophie from the other house.

I’m loving Beatrix’s little walking stick. In real life, I think it’d be a bit longer and thicker than a pencil?

I’m a little fuzzy on the back story of Goldie. Her arc may have happened while I was in hospital a year or so ago. Anyway, I seem to remember she was homeless, but not much more. Any help?

MY biggest fear- an animal disappearng! Micro chips for location should be created!! Get everyoner to search – even the mice and raccoons!

I can’t help liking Sophie’s abductor, misguided so she is. I still hope when she sees the error of her ways she opens her heart and home to other (actually) homeless cats.

Who knows, in a plot twist she might turn out to be Freddie Quinn’s great niece or something.

I know Tommy wants to help find Sophie, but I am not sure it is a good idea for him to be out of the apartment with his woman already stressing about Sophie being gone. Though maybe she is used to Tommy spending time outside so it will not add to her stress.

I hope Bea brings her good friend Princess Mag onto the team. Homestyle and Thimblefist are probably available for hire. I’m sure The Robber Mice will get in on the action.

When the Woman took Goldie in, she made sure that she was a stray. Her stray status was verified by Tommy’s woman. She took her to Dr. Mann as soon as she could and found that she was chipped, but had no info. The Woman is a responsible Cat Lover.

I’m going to enjoy this arc so much, especially if it takes all summer—gives me something to look forward to every morning (sometimes very early morning as in about 1:15 a.m.)! Thank you, Georgia!

It’s time for Sophie to be the hero and save herself. Help from friends is nice, certainly, but she shouldn’t have to depend on others, let alone a mythical prince charming.

Looks like the best possible team. Bea and Goldie have the brains and Tommy can interview witnesses.

I’m enjoying the arc, knowing that it will have a happy ending. I’m sure your talk knocked folks’ socks off!
