What puzzles me is how are the raccoons going to tell the difference between the Mona moles (friends) and the Montague moles (foes)? In the dim light, in the heat of the fight, how will Mag and her marauders know who-who-whooo(m?) to mash?
I imagine that the vacuum will come into play against the moles that are below ground, digging. The Resistance is staying above ground, so as not to get caught up in the “sweep.”
I’ve heard it said that you shouldn’t aspire to the courage of a lion, a preloaded apex predator that basically wants to sleep all day and have all the hunting done by someone else. Instead, have the courage of a guinea pig, two pounds of snack that will scream at a predator a hundred times its size if its lettuce isn’t crispy enough.
Does the current living guinea pig scribe showing up make it an historic night? Or does the guinea pig show up because it is going to be an historic night? How does the guinea pig know it’s going to be an historic night? Inquiring minds want to know.
I am not sure if anyone already mentioned it, but I just noticed it looks like the resistance moles are right under the reporters. I had thought first it was just some sort of split screen view, but then I noticed the dirt and roots.

Popcorn looks like a Peruvian guinea pig. My best friend in grade school had one.
It’s a good thing BCN is broadcasting. The non-Montague moles are coordinating with the others courtesy of the broadcast.

Historic night, not historical night. Historical just means it happened in the past. Historic means it is big enough to “make history.”

Mona thinks it’s gonna be a long, long time
’Til above ground brings her ’round again to find
She’s not the mole they think she is at home
Oh, no, no, no
She’s no Wicket fan
Wicket plan, hoping to send the owl to parts unknown
That isn’t gonna take a long, long time
Before he’s gone a long, long time

I wonder if the reporters at Gettysburg realized what they were witnessing. Or, if they just looked upon it as just another battle?

Meanwhile, Back on the Nile
Puckmosis: The sign says Nile, but it looks like a twenty-first century conference room.
Lupinium: No problem. I see lots of displays to knock over.
Elvis-Anum: Don’t even think about it.
Beatrixia: I like these picture books. I wonder if they come in scroll format.
Puckmosis: Let’s ask this librarian over here. Excuse, me.
Librarian: How may I help you?
“Puckmosis:* We seem to have gotten lost. Can you help us get back to Ancient Egypt?
Librarian: I know just who can help. Do you know Violet Robber Mouse?
*Beatrixia: We know her great grandmother very well.
Violet: Hi gang! What brings you here?
Puck: Probably a space time anemone.
Violet: No problem. I can get you back.
Puckmosis: We don’t want to put to any trouble.
Violet: No trouble at all. I’m way overdue to visit Nana Infinity.
