That is one demonic looking SNOWMAN! I’m with Sophie! This is a curse! And might I also add my own, not so little HISS!

As an artist I would think Sofie would appreciate the snowman.

There was a movie that someone was turned into a snowman and kept showing up around the house. Can’t recall the show.

It sure as heck creeps me out.

I’m with Sophie. Definitely not something I would want to see out my window.

So, boys, if you can’t move the snowman, for heaven’s sake, please take the eyes and mouth and such and move them to the other side of the head! Let him glower menacingly in the other direction.

He can be a guard snowman, keeping outsiders away.

I don’t think Hobbes would want to scare his fellow cats!

In the last panel, Tommy has his eyes squeezed shut and his head tucked down looking away from the window. I don’t blame him. The branch “hand” keeps moving and getting closer to the window.

The Girl helped to make it, so Elvis approves of it.

I hope the children built snow goons at each window, so everycat could enjoy the, um, gift. Although I suspect Tabitha and Fig’s Woman would also be freaked out if she saw one peering in through her second story window …

OT glass of water

Obviously inspired by the second strip in the Snow Goon story arc which lasted for just over three weeks. In the first strip in the arc, the snowman came to life and chased after Calvin. In the second strip, Mom said to Calvin, “Goodness! You made a snowman right on our front doorstep!” Calvin excalimed, “AAAH! He’s looking in! He knows where I live!”

Bahaha what an awesome comic. Poor sweet Tommy and Sophie ♡ Also, so nice to see five of the original kitty crew in today’s story!

Tommy’s expression in the second panel is perfect. You can tell how uncomfortable he is complaining about anything!

That is obviously a snow gargoyle, meant to scare away evil spirits. …and everyone else.

To me, it appears that Sophie is trying to defend Tommy in the last panel. Tommy is hiding in his woman’s’ arms, and Sophie is jumping at the creepy snowman with a mighty l’il hiss! Classic defending-your-friend behavior, I think. So cute that Sophie is trying to defend Tommy when she has always been a little cool towards him.
