Tiff has Les wrapped around her little finger. At least, Punk is back and seems to like Tiff.

So where is Bets? Where is Irma?

Les is deep in denial. Will someone wake him up? And where are all the comments?

For does know how to work it. I’ll give her that. Someone sooner or later will wake her up. Hopefully before too long and before it’s too late and she’s burned her bridges.

Comments are on the way. The comic just updated two minutes ago. But yes, Les is falling fast, and I don’t think anybody is going to wake him up at this point.

Now that Les is her hero, he can start experiencing Tiff closing the door on him, just like she does on her other hero, Ox.

The more Tiffany changes, the more she stays the same. But isn’t that the way for most people?

So is Tiffany’s manipulation of the boys deliberate or subconscious? Either way, it’s oddly reassuring that she retains her wrangling skills from high school.

I have to wonder if Gunth will step in to tell Tiff to knock it off, while Les is out.Using Les like this is wrong, thinking he’s getting a chance with her, and Gunth knows it is not going to happen.

Jasmine tea is usually green tea, which has no caffeine. If you can find a black tea scented with jasmine, all you have to do is make a pot, throw out the tea (or pour it into another pot to drink with the caffeine) and use the same leaves or bag to make another pot. 95%of the caffeine has gone out with the first wash. Of course, I can’t imagine Les, or even Gunther having either in their kitchen.

I know Tiffany is using him, but Les looks so happy♡! Let’s face it, the chances of Tiffany actually being unaware of what she’s doing to them are really low. Dunno if Gunther will be more direct with her and ask what her intentions are, or if it will be asked by someone else; like Irma, Al or Bets. But this “ideal” situation for Tiffany has to end, for her own sake.

About five weeks ago, (10/20/2022) Ox was Tiff’s “hero.”

Therefore, I wouldn’t get too excited over Les supposedly “scoring points” with Tiff here today.

Wonder “who” will be her “hero” by this arc’s end?

Two things in this Strip, surprise Me here today:

1) That Gunny didn’t have decaf Jasmine tea on hand at the Gulag.

2) That Les didn’t try to con Gun into running out and buying that tea, instead of leaving him alone with Tiff.

So.

Now that Tiff and Gun are about to be alone here, will she next make demands on him? (The only thing left Gunny is reading her a bedtime story)

You Know? THIS would be one Heckuva time for Bets to suddenly show up.

Tiff knows that you catch more flies with honey, rather than vinegar. She is manipulative but is so cloyingly sweet that Les doesn’t see it.

When Les returns, he’ll discover that Gunther made Tiffany some of that tea that he’s going out for. And Tiffany will declare it’s the best tea she’s ever had. And Gunther’s a hero for happening to have a stash of it.

It feels like G@K are doing a personality regress on Tiffany (like they do so often with these characters), taking her back to her old "user"persona. If that is what’s happening, it would be perfect to have Gunther catch her using the injured wrist….sans sling.

I am surprised Irma hasn’t noticed. She would take Tiff into their house and Mother her. Tiff could use a little of that I think.

It took less time for Phineas Gage to heal from his brain injury than it’s taking Tiffany to heal from hers.

It’s ovious now, even to Greg, that Tiffany’s stories are more entertaining than Luann’s. But he’ll keep making attempts to do more Lunann stories. He shouldn’t bother… Judge Parker hasn’t been glimpsed in his strip in years. Barney Google and Snuffy Smith is all about Snuffy and only features Barney about once a century. There’s precedent…It’s ok, Greg.

Tiff is playing Les like a finely tuned piano. Unfortunately, for him, he is too “aroused” to see it. However, that seems to be the way most of us guys are wired.

I did not expect this storyline to make me hate Tiffany again. lol

Does Tiffany know she is being manipulative? Or is it such an automatic fallback behavior that she is unaware? And I wonder if Gunther will call her out on it.

So we don’t know if Tiff has genuine feelings for Les, or if she’s just workin’ it. Ox will have a tough time if Tiff & Les become an item while working at the cafe.

Tiffany is not using or manipulating anyone. They guys can say No to her requests anytime they choose. If they men are dumb enough to think she will have sex with them, just because she is being nice to them, that is their own stupid fault. Over the years I’ve noticed lots of men think women want to have sex with them just because the woman is friendly to them. HINT: The bank teller or the pizza delivery person does not want to have sex with you. They are being friendly to you as part of their JOB.

I’ve completely lost track of how long Tiff has been there, or do we know? Is it possible it’s only been a day and no one else knows she’s there (except Luann, since Tiff told her at work?) Also, I’m not sure Al and Irma would object under the circumstances even if they did know. Different situation than Bets and Gunther.

Tiff is a user first there was Gunther then Ox and now she using Les. She working her way though the starting 5.

Tiff seems to be appreciative of the attention she’s getting from Les and Les continues to be smitten with Tiff. This relationship has been going on for a long time now and has wandered thru several complex aspects.

If this all turns out like a contest in Tiff’s mind between Les and Ox, Tiff will have a nervous breakdown. (As will several of the commenters here.) One of the three may become a hermit.

I guess the purpose of showing Tiffany’s sling in every situation is to impress upon us that her sprained wrist is still affecting her ability to function independently.

In reality, that stupid sling is far more of a hindrance than a help, especially when it comes to sleeping- it’s like a loose noose around the neck.

I felt bad for what happened to Tiffany (the home intruder thing is disturbing even without the injury). I’d prefer to see something happen besides just her wearing out her welcome though. I don’t feel disappointed in her YET seeing as it IS nice to get special treatment. I had a broken finger in middle school and it was so nice to not have to take notes while it was healing… so I can relate to her. It would be nice if Crystal showed up or something (preferably to do something besides just needle her for being mooch-y since that’s already been done).

Go Tiff! Using what you have to get what you want is smart business sense. Tiff shouldn’t have to show gratitude for being “allowed” to work wounded. Les is also benefiting from his split of Ox’s/Tiffs tips. If anything, Luann, Bernice, Bets, the dorm drama crew should get the Fuse management involved if they have a problem with Tiffs work. Just like the HR department position that Bernice is headed for. On any case, good on Tiff for playing to her strengths for herself.

Also, I’m not sure Tiff’s manipulation is bad for Les. The semi-porn posters are down and he’s acting like an actual caring human being. Let Tiff chainge you, dude! Please!

Manipulate much? The two parent starved wastrels kept in check by the munificent spirit in Luannverse, evolving into better versions of themselves, but in their interrelationships, revealing in many subtle ways the complex character development inherent in the comic. Or…it’s hilarious as heck! These boys have their noses so open, to use an old south turn of phrase, except the nerd has a hot, jealous gf, Bets, and Les, well, he is so much in the friend zone, poor guy. Although being a good friend is something he has evolved to be manipulatable as far as Tiff is concerned. Tiff, is Tiff.

Punk being a true cat staying next to the warm person who can’t move. I hope his purrs help Tiffany heal faster.

If she is able to go to work….she doesn’t need to be in bed, and the guys waiting on her. She broke her arm, not became paraplegic.

Just remember, Tiffany is a trained actress and a confirmed liar.

While it’s nice to see Tiffany has settled in, I was hoping to see how Stef reacted to opening her room door to find Tiffany (and her things) has left.

Gunther is helping Tiffany because she’s a friend and he’s a decent human being. Les of course has his own motives.

People can change. I hope Les is learning how much better it feels to be nice.

For whatever reason, I like how the cat is looking towards Les, and not just lying there as is a non important element of the strip…perhaps he is displaying his affection towards Les, or admiring the sandwich…

Tiffany will use Les and Gunther for as long as she pleases. She will then ignore them the next time she sees them, and have no memory of all their hard work. I’ve known women just like her, and that’s what they do – use and discard.

As an aside, I should know that’s it’s a futile endeavor, but I’ll repeat my mantra again. Tiff did not BREAK her arm. She has a wrist sprain. She is not wearing a CAST. She is wearing a splint, padding, and a sling. Okay. Now I’ll go do something equally productive like banging my head on the brick wall outside, lol.
