Given the racing course for the last 2 AM running of the cats (https://www.breakingcatnews.com/comic/the-bi-monthly-2-am-running-of-the-cats/) parkour hardly seems out of place.
Arachna: It looks like my new web fabric has passed the Ora Z test.
Adobe Style: Just watch out for the bell display, Ora!
Ora Z: Wheeee!
Bells: Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!
Arachna: We may have just invented a new arcade game.
At the Artisans’ Workshop
Iggy: I’ve drawn up a plan of what a guitar might look like. What kind of wood should we use?
Iron Glove: Let’s see what we have and decide what makes the best sound.
Iggy: Some of these woods come from thousands of miles away. How did you come by them?
Iron Glove: The Camel Branch of the Ancient and Accepted Procurers’ Guild have sources of which we know not.
At the Afar Public Library and Coffee Shop
Beaver Lee Cleary: Here’s a scroll from Chef Ambrosius:
Today we are going to have a celebration in the library foyer. I’ve brought crackers and chocolate and marshmallows. We have everything ready for a dessert feast.
Puckmosis: It looks like everything was going well. Wonder what happened.
Bev: It goes further:
Everything has been put away and the fires extinguished. It looks like a storm is brewing. This only happens every few decades.
Elvis-Anum: Could it have been a freak accident? Maybe a lightning strike?
Oh my cat! I once had a female cat who used to do this when she was young! She wasn’t tiny though, she was a strapping 14 pounds of muscle and long flowing fur.
(With about seven hundred and seventy-eight groveling pardons to Tom Petty, with the rest of the customary thousand to be apportioned out to the other Traveling Wilburys.)
Years ago, Rusty came tearing in the front door just as I opened it. I was carrying a full pitcher of water (to water the flowers). He bounced off my leg. I staggered into a chair, cut and bruised my leg and dropped the pitcher on the floor!
Hello!! I posted this on the strip from April 1, 2023, but I wanted to add it here too: Thank you to readers who pointed out that the new hallway would block the Nursery windows. The cats have corrected it, and I have shared the updated map to all of BCN’s social media accounts. I don’t know if it can be corrected in the archives, but going forward the amended map of the apartment in the second slide will be the map the cats use. BCN appreciates the diligence of viewers like you!! I wish I could have blamed it on April Fool’s Day, lol, but it was just an honest mistake! There’s a lot to keep track of in the Big House House diagrams, even I get turned around!
@rs0204 Flubber was invented a few miles from my hometown. We children enjoyed playing with it long before it went commercial with Hasbro. I never saw the films. IDK whether any absent’minded professors were involved.

NO! Not the poor owl lamp again!
(Or one of them, anyway. I get the impression that they are regularly replaced.)
