So Luann is declaring she is “Full of” while wearing a shirt with BS in large letters. Probably not a good idea.

I know I’m like the millionth person to make that observation but it bears repeating.

I wish there was arc arc starring Brad and Toni—like the sweet one from a few years back, where the couple saw this beautiful house for sale, and they wanted to buy it—only to find out that it’s far beyond their price range. Too bad it was only one week.

I’m kind of wondering how this got past the censors. (BS?) Poor Luann fell into the Batub; she’s full of something…

This reminds me of an old 7-Up ad with Orlando Jones from 2000. Jones walked down the street wearing a shirt which on the front said: “Make 7” and on the back “Up Yours”. He was truly proud of himself for all the attention he had drawn to himself and in turn his product. He was half right! ;) Pretty funny commercial…….

This story line had its genesis in a bad case of psychological indigestion.

I have to admit, I’m waaaaay over this storyline myself!

Boy! Karen is really pressing the point home of the silliness of “branding”. Using a bulldozer when a scalpel will do. Or should I say using a bull*#@t dozer? That shirt says it all.

Luann reminds me of the lead actress in Orange is the New Bkack. Main character, but the absolute worst unlikable moron of ALL the characters. I SERIOUSLY HATE this girl. Everyone else is very good! Even Puddles!

I love seeing Luann’s optimism continue and I have to say that her t-shirt has the potential to be a hit, but not with the meaning she gave it. Tara is skeptical and I hope to see the reaction of Piro, Jack and maybe Nill’s artistic opinion, followed by his interpretation of it that will catch Luann off guard and maybe make her want to change shirt. I hope Luann’s optimism can continue, maybe there’s even hope that Luann will meet again the ultimate funny shirt specialist, Knute!

For casual Friday, I wore a certain tee-shirt ironically, but no one realized the irony.

I imagine that Luann is not the only person/student in her age range who could relate to the ‘blank slate’ brand; of course BS has other meanings. But a T shirt is a good marketing prop and wouldn’t it be hilarious if Luann started getting requests and making money off of ideas and concepts that Bets gave her.

Are you walking around with a shirt that says BS? Reminds me of one of the writers’ explanation of Jughead’s ‘S’ sweater: It’s for the Squirrel High Independent Tigers, and was really the only way it could be abbreviated.

When I first glanced at today’s comic, I thought something on Luann’s shirt was redacted.

Tara’s shirt should say, “I’m with stupid.” Luann’s should say, “I’m stupid.”

Luann is definitely full of something but I wouldn’t say it’s potential.

Luann is advertising her need to get filled.

Someone should explain to the clueless Karen and Greg that “blank slate” is an insulting term. It was used to describe children who came to school ignorant and became passive receptors of whatever the school filled their minds with. Also, “full of potential” is empty and trite.

Oh lord, yet another week of this.

It should say “Tabula Rasa”. (Tabula rasa is a Latin phrase often translated as clean slate in English ). The BS is likely to get her in trouble.
