I’m suddenly hearing music. Wait, there’s lyrics as well. “Here he comes to save the day!” Is anyone else hearing this?

As someone who has worked professional Search and Rescue, I commend the racoons for contacting the search headquarters before getting involved. A coordinated search for missing persons involves proper communications to ensure all areas are covered and nothing is missed. I hope Junebug shows up to provide aerial support.

Aww, Gutter! He will be Sophie’s knight in – semi-shiny? tarnished? – armor!!

This gives me great hope! Especially with the climbing gear, glass-breaking equipment and aerial reconnaissance system (aka Chitter and Chatter).

That outfit reminds me of the character Joxxer from the old Xena: Warrior Princess show. Of course, Joxxer was comic relief, whereas Gutter intends to be the gallant hero.

Hooray, those who said it yesterday were right. The raccoons have come to help! They will probably be pretty useful at extricating Sophie from her predicament as well.

The search is long

I just noticed that both Sophie and Gutter have health issues with one of their eyes — her left eye, and his right eye? it’s almost as if they are mirroring each other?

Although veteran reporters, Lupin and Elvis can’t hide their emotions, from Lupin’s total depression to Elvis’s sweet hopefulness.

Now things are heating up!

Here comes Mad Max: Lost Kitty.

I cannot help but see a parallel between Gutter and Odin. This bodes well, indeed.

I have a suspicion that Sophie is going to have a hand in her own rescue. Our delicate local eccentric has strengths she (and we) don’t know yet.

I have two problems. One is the inability to post links. The other is that my Facebook friend (who went to church with me when I was a teenager) posted it and while he got it from somewhere, I’m not sure where.

The sweetest calico kitten is hesitant to go home with the dog but the dog just keeps encouraging it and it finally ends up at its new home.
