I’d love to know what’s going on in Ora Zella’s mind. Also, I think Seamus is in deep doo-doo!

Look at all the shamrocks on her dress! Think of how heavy it would be if they were real rocks…

Well, she doesn’t seem upset, that’s a good start. Of course, she hasn’t spoken with Seamus yet, so there’s still opportunity to see her upset. (Note: best seen from a distance.)

I love the flowers in her hair. ✿♥‿♥✿

I like to think Granny Bitty has other children who are well-adjusted, and that she has grandchildren she’s proud of. Maybe Seamus is her youngest child, the problem kid who never grew up? or maybe in leprechaun years, he’s actually a teenager?

What’s in her hand? A shelleilegh (hope that’s spelled right) for whupping some sense into her Clown Prince!

She is truly regal. Her manners are spot-on. She also has a neat fascinator and parasol.

Hoo boy! I don’t know about the rest of you, but when someone you know is as mad as a wet hen is quiet and reasonable—soft spoken—not even squinting a little, I duck and cover.

She almost looks like the Nana!

I don’t know if the Mama Vaccuum is nodding yes or backing away nervously. Her “eyes” seem a bit wide.

I love how reading the comments usually makes me go back and look at the strip more thoughtfully.

OZ, unless you are in the military, you do not salute royalty. You bow or curtsey. But at least you are trying to show respect for the Queen.

There was a mention yesterday of Romeo and Juliet being derived from an earlier Italian version. That Italian version is thought to have been derived from the Persian/Arabic story of Layla and Majnun. (It’s known in both languages.) L&M is itself thought to derive from an even earlier version. (Babylonian? Sumerian?)

I recall reading about an English teacher who was teaching R&J to Arab students. He had them blend R&J with L&M. I thought that was a brilliant move. They would gain a greater understanding of both versions, of English and Arabic literature.

This is so very delightful! It’s sending my spring fever off the chart!

And, above all, that darling Granny Bitty! How cute can one girl get?!

She reminds me of Fionnula Flanagan. Same twinkle in her eyes, (even if they are closed here), and glorious silver crown of hair. I’ve loved her in many shows, especially “Waking Ned Devine” and Star Treks.

I’d love Georgia to weigh in on panel 2! Because of her fangs, and the fact she is almost stock still, I say OZ is stopped in mid-swat. She may be impetuous, but she’s not stupid and she probably knows this is one time to reign in her impulses!!

A person of such majesty causes one to show respect automatically. Ora Zella will learn the propper protocol as she grows up. However, now, a salute works.

Well, I am hoping that the broken links for several of my comics today (Amanda the Great, UFO, Little Dog Lost) does not bode ill for the upcoming “New” GC!

That rendition of Granny Bitty (with Orazuzu saluting her) is going to create a lot of comments today. Wondering if we will get to 500 (always a milestone).

I can help with that by commenting, I just noticed the size difference of OZ to Granny Bitty. OZ looks huge next go Queen Bitty! Queen Bitty must be very tiny, indeed!
