I like reading folks were complaining the story was taking too long, then they were complaining it was one of the plots someone guessed.

Can’t wait to see if Tiff’s going to her dad or not on this.

He might deserve to be happy, (wasn’t the best dad to Tiff), but does he deserve to be penny less down the road?

In a science fiction show, this would mean that Ann Eiffel is pregnant with Leslie a second time.

Honestly, it’s hard to tell exactly what you are seeing when you look at an ultrasound, especially early in a pregnancy. They all look alike.

Les appears to be the dumb one. His mother is, unfortunately, clever.

And Les is so clueless. Tiffany, press your Dad for a solid pre-nup. If you try to interfere all Ann will do is take some place private and get the wrong part of his anatomy do the thinking.

Tiff should bring in Admiral Ackbar from “Return Of The Jedi” and have him recite his famous line: “IT’S A TRAP!”

Les, NO! Ann showed Tom the SAME one that Tiff is holding. Your ultrasound. She did not mix up with some other ultrasound – she doesn’t have any other. Since when are you DENSE? Your mother made a copy and showed it to Tom. Shake up your cluttered brain – probably trashed by those pin-ups in your room.

Just when I thought this strip couldn’t get any dumber, Leslie goes there.

Les, she copied YOUR ultrasound, then acted like it was real. Tom never saw it, since you had it, so he thinks it’s real. Poor Ol’ Tom Farfell. He’s engaged to a gold digger.

Gee, what an amazing coincidence. Even if she did a direct comparison, it still would not matter, because she really could be having their kid by now.

Now, there’s one really shallow gene pool.

uh Les if anyone is a moron this time around it sure isn’t Tiffany in fact i’d say she’s Einstein right now compared to you Les and that’s saying quite A LOT!

So Tiffany is the brains in this pair.

I’m starting to think Tiffany is smart enough to leave this alone.

Contrary to what seems the prevailing view expressed here I don’t think Les is being seemingly dense because of slow wit, rather I think he, naively most likely, thinks his mom is really pregnant, or is hoping so, and is not coming to the more obvious one. He does not have the same interest that Tiffany has, to protect her interest in her dad’s affections although they do or did a few panels ago that Tom and Ann must stopped from getting married. Until Tiff sets him straight he can’t make the obvious logical leap. He really thinks there are .two different ultrasounds.

Okay. You’re catching on. Now what are you going to do about it?

Time For A Family Meeting

Two questions. 1. When Ann and Tiffany’s Dad returned from their trip the first thing he said was “We have lots of news!” What news? He never gave any news. They got sidetracked by Tiffany’s “news” about the “baby” and he ran off.2. So was Ann just scamming Tiffany about her Dad’s money troubles to cut off her spending and make her life miserable? It sure doesn’t seem like he’s having any problems in that area. He and Ann seem to be living a pretty lavish lifestyle.

I wondered. I also thought that Tiff’s step bro was smart. She should smack him right now.

So Ann was planning to trap Tom. Got the proposal without springing the trap. “Miscarriage” coming? To be blamed on Tiffany because she wasn’t helpful enough? Or perhaps she planned to fake a whole pregnancy and steal a baby? Looks messy for Tiffany if Ann “ends” the pregnancy before Tiffany can. Even if Tiffany can put her hands on both ultrasound pictures at the same time for Tom’s inspection, there’s the question of provenance – Tiffany has to be able to prove that one of them is indeed an “antique.” Otherwise it just looks like two copies of a current image.

My take on it. Tiffany and Les talk to Les’ Uncle. Next. He has connections, and skill. And he knows Ann. I bet that he eventually talks with Tiffany’s dad. Tiffany’s dad gets his freedom. Tiffany gets her dad back. Tiffany gets to continue on her new path as her choice, but with her dad in her life

Well guys, y’all problem is solved, it would be a matter of time before your dad catches up with her deceit, then he wouldn’t want to have anything to do with her. Bingo

Remember my earlier comments? – Ultrasounds having “metadata” around the image edges and usually on the readouts?

Yeah, I’m curious what’s going to become of it – seems to me that would be there and would make it difficult for Ann to pass a reproduction of les’s ultrasound as a new “baby” not to mention at this point Tom’s going to presumably have a vested interest in Ann’s health and well being if he thinks she’s carrying his child.

also, especially after her last drama with Tiffany doing the sudden “oh I’m pregnant, do everything for me” that she is not showing. I mean yeah, every woman’s different, but I would not think a woman that pregnant would be wearing such “form flattering” clothing.

last but not least, Ann is no spring chicken, she’s at the very least mid-30s if she had Les while she was in High School, most likely older given the apparent age of her Big Brother.

Speaking of which, why has it not occurred to Les to inform Uncle Al…

I think GnK will have Tiffany confront Ann instead of Tom with this news. That has been her fatal mistake in the past. It has allowed Ann to worm her way out of a confrontation situation every time. It allowed Ann to either lie to Tiffany or get to Tom first and blame Tiff as a problem daughter somehow.

Off topic but since dumb has been brought up, did Tiffany mange to pass her classes?

Though not a gambling man, I am seriously wondering what the over / under is on the completion of this arc. Two more weeks?

This is just going to be another round of Tiffany vs Ann – Ann wins.

A lot of beating up of Les for limited reasons; as Luann1212 pointed out above Les wants a ‘little bro" and isn’t thinking Ann is reusing but the “little bro” is doing like he is so relax a little. As for Tiffany and “taking down Ann”, won’t happen as it’s set up now. Show Ann the photocopy without support (meaning Les at least) and Ann says Tiffany had it made. To “take Ann down” is going to have to be more than a simple confrontation. Either lots of help (Big Al and Les) or Tiffany needs to say that she got a job offer out of the area for the summer and Ann needs to do her thing (really meaning fake a miscarriage in September/October). No matter what the best thing Tiffany can do is mug her dad and convince him to do a pre-nup that locks Ann up pretty tight but then that’s California and who knows how tight that’ll be.

So the trick here isn’t to confront tom with the picture. Rather look at the photo with tom around and say you got thinking about babies and les showed you a picture of his sonogram show it to tom for completely innocent reasons. Let Tom put 2 and 2 together.

It occurred to me last week ultrasounds have date/time stamps, yes? I guess Ann photoshopped the date/time out of the one Tom saw?

Now I wonder what Ann’s endgame was here. Forcing a wedding to happen as fast as possible before anyone asked why she wasn’t showing then claiming a miscarriage seems to be the most logical, but you’d think a visit to a doctor would happen at SOME point…

My take this is about two lonely only teens. Tiff wants to protect Tom because he’s the only family she appears to have. And Les’s desire for a sibling is blinding him.

No way would this fly in the real world. Ultrasound technology has progressed a lot in 20 years, the photos you get to take home today look nothing like the ones from when I was a kid.

OK, I realize this is just a comic strip and I haven’t taken the time to read the other comments but I am really hoping that Ann will be exposed sooner rather than later, before she marries Tiffany’s father. I don’t believe she is pregnant and she needs to go! I was really glad when Luann’s mother stood up to her and kicked her out of the Fuse.

Well now that the plot point we could all see coming has arrived, what next? That they really need is Mr. Grey’s help.

The problem is that Tom proposed to Ann without the fake pregnancy, so he does sincerely want to marry her. Even if Tiffany goes to him with this, Ann will just start crying and say she loves Tom so much that she wanted to make sure she could stay with him forever etc. etc. She certainly won’t admit she was trying to scam him. Then Ann will cast Tiffany in a bad light for trying to “destroy Tom’s happiness” and they’ll tell her not to slam the door on her way out.

Gotta love Les.

My guesses:Tom has no money problems. He gave Ann control of the household accounts and she stopped paying the staff and that’s why they left.

Ann has been pocketing the money she was supposed to pay the staff.

She’s also been pocketing Tiff’s college money. Tom has no idea Tiff has been supporting herself.

The ultrasound will be explained away as “oh, I meant you were going to be a daddy – to my 20yo son, Les!”

Les can be a little dim sometimes, can’t he?

You know, if you take a look at the ultrasound Tiffany is holding up, it does sort of look like Les, “waving like a moron”.

So does this mean they’re going to use vague threats of blackmail to get Ann to give up her scam? Isn’t it like the third time in a row this tactic has been used on her?

I think everyone who follows this strip knows that Ann is a master manipulator. Tom is either too stupid or too blind to see that.

Tiffany has immediately seen through what the Little Leslie ultrasound really means. Leslie himself, sadly, still has no idea. What a dull boy!

Baby pictures sure go back farther these days. Unless you are an obstetrician most sonograms look alike. That’s why they are not used as passport pictures. :)

Tiffany’s Dad is too “blinded” by Ann. If she told him to eat bird poop because he loved her, he’d probably dig in.

Have Puddles bite her, have Shannon bite her; why are we trying to instigate animal and child abuse? If they bite her, they’ll TASTE her!! A fate I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.

I do not know where this will go. I do hope Ann is revealed and Tom dumps her. I think he will be a regular as he now has a face. But one thing I do know is Ann will always be a ongoing series of arcs in the story. Her son and brother are a part of the story, She has so many links she will be back. Greg Evans cannot let her go away forever. Look at how many comments she brings . What a great foe. I love to despise her.

On their way to the Farrell house …Tiffany and Les…need to stop at the Drug Store and buy a pregnancy test. Walk into the house and hand ‘test’ & ‘copy of ultrasound’ to Tom.

Methinks Ann’s using Leslie’s sonogram and MADE IT look like it was recent. If only should would read the date of when it was taken, then she’d be in hot water once she learns it’s not Tom’s baby, but Leslie’s father instead.

Married under false pretenses. Have the DNA test before the wedding. Many a man has avoided paying child support for a child that is not his own. $500.00 a month for each year is $6,000.00 a year. After 18 years, or $108,000.00 in total. She swore, under oath, in a court of law, that the baby girl was his! He got out of it, the same way as last time, when he produced the document that 4 years ago, he had a vasectomy.
