Finally! Thanks Greg and Karen for listening to us !! I thought maybe they would have used the eyes to their advantage and had a strip where they kiss each other and say “let’s get out of here” implying the eye paintings were watching them but this works too!!

Let’s hope they’re a little bit better at conversing than what they appear to be now. I’m guessing a trip to a museum to look at artifacts probably isn’t a good idea for a first date for these two.

Phil the person, not in scrubs, is something we will now get to see.

Please let this be a relationship that is sweet and a little grown up. Phil’s choice of employment hopefully shows he is a decent person and deserves some respect. It is almost Spring. Let us enjoy a young love story in all its glory. Please don’t let this be hopelessly romantic wishful thinking.

I wish I were a little more thrilled about Phil (I know, I’m not the audience) but he seems a tad dull to me, more or less a character who was created to be a love interest for Luann but without any real chemistry other than being designed for that purpose. Oh well, it’s a change from Luann’s normal solitary mode these past few years.

This might be like Luann with Jack when they first met..a possible romantic partner, but she wasn’t attracted to him in that way, so they became friends instead. Which is fine; no one, male or female, should have to get involved with someone they have no spark with (Tiffany and Ox, whatever that was with Bernice and Gunther, Kip and anyone who’s not Stefani).
