Maybe this week is Toni’s nightmare version of life with Brad and lots of kids, while last week was Brad’s misgivings about stopping at one.

Six, soon to be eight mouths to feed.

I don’t even want to imagine what that grocery bill is like………., ;-)

Some people eat that type of breakfest, I’v seen people get a hotdog for breakfest. it’s gross to eat something like that early in the morning.

This is very similar to Bill Cosby’s routine about “Chocolate Cake for Breakfast.”

You know this is a fantasy. Because T.J. isn’t the one cooking. Seriously, this breakfast would give him a stroke.

I am the odd ball for enjoying this arc, but that’s because I know it’s only temporary.

Meanwhile, Luann finally gets a degree and moves to Minnesota so that she doesn’t have to babysit Brad’s small domestic zoo!

This current idiocy just may be worth the aggravation if it finally ends with Brad and Toni throwing the brat back to her sperm donor!

So, the whole family acts like kids?

Ooo, I’ve changed my mind. This is NOT Brad’s dream of a family but rather is Toni’s fear of what Brad would be like as a dad. No wonder she’s hesitating about having kids with him.

Someone explain please why cheap yucks are supposed to be funny. This arc is a travesty.

Wait, I thought Toni was the pregnant one. Brad is eating for 4!

Why did this comic strip veer off on this boring storyline? Even the artwork is funky.

If Toni ever wakes up from this ghastly nightmare, Brad will be sleeping in another room for the foreseeable future.

I keep thinking Olive Oyl and Popeye comics. Maybe just the faces?

The drawing looks childish, but that’s because Brad is being childish in his fantasy. It pretty much fits.

If Toni is hesitant about having kids, this could be one of the reasons why.

Interesting concept. An oven baked, pizza size pancake, cut into triangles. Can’t say I agree with the toppings in the strip, but it does do away with having to stand next to a stove flipping individual pancakes.

I feel like I am reading the rose is rose comic strip.

If THAT isn’t enough to force a double-miscarriage, then I don’t know what is..

Those combinations should suit Toni nicely. The kind of weird food cravings pregnant women can get.

Earlier I wondered about the style change. After going back and re-reading the arc from the beginning, it makes much more sense. The first week was Toni’s fantasy, this week is Brad’s. Brad may have become a responsible adult and husband, but the “Brad” we all saw as he and Luann were growing up is still there inside somewhere.

Brad’s fantasy family is going to be sick!

Please lose this story line. It sucks. Get by back to Luann. Loose Shannon.

Okay, kids, it’s time to wake up. Those train has gone off the tracks!

Popcorned pizza pancakes sound pretty good. And it’s good for you. It cover all the major food groups – popcorn is a vegetable, the pizza is starchy food topped with various fruits, such as tomatoes, the ice cream dip is dairy, and there is probably some kind of meat (protein) on the pizza.

Geez, this is worse than last week.

when will the graphics get back to normal? This is horrible

The artwork is so muddled and confused, you can’t even tell what’s really going on. It’s just a big convoluted, disgusting mess.

They made popcorn pizza panacakes, and they didn’t offer any to the pregnant lady? How rude!

Like a bad Saturday Night sketch it’s time to wind this up.

People in these comments crack me up. Hardly anyone realizes this is a 2 week arc, even though the Evans’ told us. Also, these are daydreams, they are not serious thoughts or actual events. The art is depicting 2 radically opposite versions of individual extreme fantasies. They are deliberately over the top.

People have so much more to actually worry about in the real world, but they choose to complain here, with no more control. In fact you do have more control in the real world.

Meantime, just sit back relax, or skip it if it infuriates you.

The authors will be back so you can resume your regular complaining next week. Have fun!

This art style that Fosgitt’s using on these most recent strips is like a demented fever dream. I guess that’s intentional, though.

Casually it was just the weird food that Toni suddenly had a craving for. Brad has an idea of ​​a loud family that I like, but I don’t think it can exist. Now I really want to see what their future babies will be like.

This art style makes Family Circus look goth.

I trust this arc is just temporary, because it surely sucketh.

Seems the characters have become more cartoonish this week. I do prefer GnK’s artwork. All this sweetness is overboard.

One more week of Jay’s drawings, I looked it up.

This is all just too painful. I’m skipping this feature until the creator resumes control(of himself?).

TJ is definitely not living with them in Brad’s fantasy. He could make something healthy that everyone would like.

Holy snot, this is repulsive. Makes the characters look like complete idiots. LOVE IT!

Couldn’t understand how Brad seemed so eager to have lots of children as an adult, when he was the exact opposite of protective-nurturing to his little sister when younger… well, that answers the question, he’s one of those people that want to have kids so they have company to play with… This makes sense character-wise. Still think that I wouldn’t like to see either one of them as parent.

Good choice of which guest artist draws which dream-sequence though, have to say that.

This is the absolute stupidest story arc EVER. Enough already!

Just because TJ CAN make that, doesn’t mean he should…

This is getting ridicules. Lets get back to the old artwork and a different story line NOW.

Will we ever get back to the strip I enjoyed? I am about to quit reading this pap, and I don’t like the artwork either.

In DOONESBURY, BD took he&Boopsie’s baby daughter along in the motorcycle sidecar when he was on California highway patrol.

How old does a baby have to be before it can swing an axe and lift a hose?

Minus the pizza part, I suppose that could work.

I can’t take the guest arttist and I don’t read this stuff.

You know way back in the day, Brad actually told Dirk that he needs to respect Toni and treat her like a person and now he’s imagining her being nothing more than a baby making factory. The irony is not lost on me.

This is getting a little weird.

Toni and Brad aren’t my favorite characters, but I don’t think either one would have these daydreams. They are both more mature. The whole thing has been silly and out-of-character. And the artwork is creepy.

I grow weary of this story arc, and this ridiculous conversation about political and social views.

For those of you who have enjoyed Jay Fosgitts artwork this week check out his book “Bodie Troll” for sale on Amazon. He also has several other things listed. I like his style but I would not want to see him drawing “Luann” full time because I love Greg’s clean, classic style. But this brief look into the daydreams of Toni and Brad has been entertaining.

Not so cute now and you have 2 more on the way. I can’t wait for this story line to be over.

I do not care for this visiting cartoonist’s slapstick “what if” of Tony and Brad’s life. Not at all. Too stupid for me. Please get rid of it and get back to Greg Evan’s concepts.

This variation/imaginary scenario/parallel universe or whatever you care to call it story arc was amusing for about two or three installments. It’s now getting to be a bit too much like a truly awful strip called Ernie Pook’s Comeek that ran in the indie hippie papers around the turn of the century.
