Sunday funnies time: I think we all could use a laugh with things like hurricanes, wildfires, and more being talked about in the news. Also, I need a good laugh after one of the big box stores that used to take away used appliances didn’t take the old refrigerator away because the last delivery guys SHOVED in into the hole. We were told (hubby has degenerative discs) to get it out ourselves, and they would leave it on the front stoop/step for us to move into the house. We still have the old thing that is (unless you find the Goldilocks spot) too warm for milk, and if you wiggle the temp too cold for eggs.

A fluffernutter is a kind of peanut butter sandwich with marshmallow cream on it. ❤️ Chaos is cute and tasty!

Slightly off-topic : the weather is so cold that even the stray cats are curled up and huddling together inside the apartment building, and one of the cats is sleeping on its mom’s neck.

It is so cute when cats sleeps on each other but the number of cats in our street is annoying the building cleaner because we used to have few cats in the past.

Unplug the old one and disconnect water source if needed. Then spray your floor with Glass Plus under the four corners of the frig. It should slide easily enough feet to get out of the hole.. Clean out the cat toys etc. Then unpack the new one and repeat process. The only negative is leveling the new one. I have degenerative disc disease and use this plan when I clean. Beware slippery floor until you mop!!

I keep having the nagging feeling that somehow this is all backwards and that the Roombas from Outer Space have actually come to help us by cleaning up our polluted air and water and land. In which case, we should be greeting them with joy and not with violence….even adorable kitten violence.

2 points for everyone who said Ora Zella would open the door, 3 points for Lupin. Did anyone have both? Together?

Okay, who spilled the whole box of Hostess Ding Dong’s on the floor and why are the cats batting them around? This is getting a little too ridiculous, and expensive. The woman probably doesn’t abide by the 5 second rule so the boy and the girl are out of Ding Dong’s now.

The two Agents of chaos, one riding the other into battle, is one of the cutest images I’ve seen from Georgia in a long time, and that’s really saying something considering how adorably cute her art is!

OT: Local raccoon

I went out just after sunset, to take the trash can to the curb for pickup tomorrow. I saw a critter standing in the middle of the road. At first I thought it was a cat, but then it started walking away, and I realized it was a raccoon. It stopped in the middle of the road again, and there was a car coming. Luckily, the car swerved around it. It didn’t seem to concern the raccoon. As soon as the car passed, it slowly ambled slowly into the ditch and into the neighbor’s yard. From the way it was moving, I have a feeling it’s an old raccoon. I hope it doesn’t come back and try to get into my garbage can. I have a bungee cord over the lid, but those human like hands can probably figure out how to get it off.

That’s the first live raccoon I’ve seen in years, but if he doesn’t stay away from the road, he’s not going to stay alive much longer. (I don’t know that it was a male, but it was just giving off “old man” vibes.)

The last panel (“Are they winning? They’re not losing”) makes me chuckle every time I read it. Especially with OZ spinning around on top of the SRs
