Tiffany technically was even better looking than Steph back when she was in great physical shape. I wonder if Steph mocking Tiff so much regarding her current overweight will provoke her into getting in great shape again, in order to outdo Steph in the beauty area.

The word that Tiffany is hesitating to use here is ‘bimbo’.

It’s like Tiffany is arguing with her past self by playing the role that used to be Luann’s. I think doing this will be good for her personal growth, but I’m also afraid she might decide to try to rebrand Stef to be a better girlfriend for Kip involvingBets and Dez. Luckily, Stef would never accept their help.

Stef has no heart and everything Tiff said is true.

In a sense, Tiff ALREADY outdoes Steff in that area. Beauty is more than your body. It is your compassion, your giving to others, caring about others. It is WHO you are, not just what you look like.

This argument as about as violent as “Luann” has been in over a decade, which is saying how milktoast the strip has become. On the other hand there are no obvious reason Tiffany would want Kip, Like Aaron Hill from long ago, his depths are paper thin.

Tiff was portrayed as a possible sociopath, but in spite of her shallowness, and rich girl entitlement, she has grown, right in front of our eyes, including the weight, which I think is a touchstone in her healing. She doesn’t have to be skinny to satisfy other’s needs, not hers. Steph is not a sociopath either, but she has a serious personality disorder (I’m not doing a Bernice here, not a doc) in terms of being able to get out of what she thinks Kip wants (which he can get, no issue) totally missing what he really wants, a true, trusting GF. A friend person. I think the contest over who gets him in the end is unimportant. Its not a contest. Its Steph learning humility and true love. No Pressure!

Just as they’re about to scratch each other’s eyes out, Kip will appear, tell them he’s gay and that he doesn’t want either of them.

Jeez, Tiff, just sit on her already.

After reading the comments, let’s pretend Tif DOES suddenly return to her old physical form. And voila! Kip or some other dude sees her, latches on and she leaves Tif in the dust. What does that say about any of them? What message does that send kids? That old stereotypes are still valid? That unless a chick comes wrapped up in supermodel wrapping paper, just her brain or her heart won’t be enough. Yeesh. Count me out.

I still think Steph needs to lose the hair bow.

They need to get rid of this Tiffany character. She’s trite, condescending, dishonest and self-righteous. You need to make up your mind Stephanie. Either Tiffany is a chunky twit or she’s a rival, she can’t be both. Clear signs of narcissism.

Neither Tiff nor Stef are blameless here. Stef is a jealous, hateful, spiteful bi…, uhm… person and Tiff needs to back off and disentangle herself from the situation. She was out of bounds going to Kip’s room.

Again, Tiff shows insightfulness and Steff is, yes, heartless.

Men need to learn to look past the “Exterior”

“Chunky little twit”. I know that had to sting. But to be honest, Tiff was indeed trying to move in on Kip. Trying to kiss him and whatnot. So she’s not totally innocent as she claims to be.

In the first panel Stef seems to think Tiffany has a lot of power, since she was able to make Kip break up with Stef. In the last panel Stef thinks Tiff has no power over anything. Which is it, Stef?

One of my all-time favorite lines from all media is near the end of the Wizard of Oz, as Dorothy is saying her goodbyes and the Scarecrow says, “Now I know I’ve got a heart, ‘cause it’s breaking.”

I mean Tiff was all about Kip to begin with… and was hoping to kiss him… honestly there’s blame all around.

Regarding the “chunky” comment. I know and have known many beautiful women who some would call chunky that were actually solid muscle. They could easily break the Barbie-babes in half, metaphorically speaking. I prefer them to the twigs that Americans seem to prefer.

Steph is just like Tiff was, so why did they introduce a new character when it would have been easier to just bring back the old Tiff?

This arc is bringing out the worst in most of the comments. Many can’t even keep the character’s names straight.

And I hate to spoil all you men’s fantasy, but IRL girl-fights don’t involve slaps and hairpulls.

It’d be a lot easier to root for Tiffany if she hadn’t been spending the past few years plotting to steal Kip away from Stef, using every tactic she could think of (except of course for the foolproof one that G&K won’t let her try since they demand all their female protagonists remain as chaste as nuns.) To alter a common saying: it’s not paranoia if they really are doing the thing you think they’re doing. This situation is what Reddit refers to as ESH: Everybody Sucks Here.

It is sad how many people just accept being overweight.
