So is Angora going back to the big city or will she decide to stay in town to keep an eye on her new property. In the Hallmark movies the woman from the big city usually ends up staying in the small town to be near her new love.

A Very Merry to the Orb! BUT …. I wish the people in my area would stop shooting off fireworks. It started around 10 pm and was quite long and loud, almost July 4th in its intensity. I thought the magi gave frankincense, myrrh and gold — nobody mentioned anything about Roman candles!

Wait, is this the end? I want to know what happens next. I seem to recall this glimpse of Our IX Lives was just through Christmas.

Of course, Snowbelle isn’t actually dead. She’s hiding out in the local convent.

Hyphen has settled in like he owns the place. He’s definitely an orange cat (his day for the single brain cell has yet to happen). We call him Wreck It Ralph often.

Frenchie is a busy cat always running errands. He stops for a quick pet, but then off he goes. We are unsure of the businesses he runs, but they must be important to keep him so busy.

Smudgie has pretty much accepted the boys, as long as she keeps control of our bed at night

I don’t comment a lot myself because I’m usually reading during the few minutes I have between the time I get to my office and the time I’m supposed to actually start working. But the people of the Orb are the nicest, wittiest, friendliest and most helpful commenters on the web. Very seldom do we get a nasty commenter and when we do, they usually get chased away very quickly. So I wish you all the best and hope that you all have a good day, whatever that means to you.

Kid bro & SIL’s cat Keira, who’s staying at mom’s with me while her h00minz are out of town, wakes me up around 6am, demanding attention & walking on me. I give her lots of skritches but I think, too early for breakfast, Keira…she jumps down, I roll over, she jumps back up on the folding table next to my recliner. Table collapses, sending things flying & scaring her half to death. All right, Keira, you win… I stumble to the kitchen, dish out some kibble, then back to the recliner. Too early to get up, finally got back to sleep 8ish & woke up 11ish.

Yes, I DID ask for it…SOOOOO WORTH IT for the chance to get a rare, proper kitty fix…

But of course, the quality of the Pawmark channel offering is MUCH more elevated than the gift options one could find at the corner deli/mini-mart/gas station.

What I want to know is…. When are we going to get back to “Unrequited love! The longing! The ache!” ?

It has been a lovely day here on the prairie even tho our small amount of snow is melting. The clowder got a lovely box of assorted cat toys to chase. So far 5 are still in the box and the other 7 are either underfoot or under furniture. They are the small scale toys we could not have for them when we had dogs; for dogs they would be a one bite choking hazard.

The People had fun watching the cats play and then headed for church. It was a lovely Christmas morning service with lots of carols and the beautifully decorated sanctuary and narthex. Quite a good turnout too considering there were two Christmas Eve services too.

Wishing everyone a wonderful winter holiday of any and all kinds and for those who are at work in essential jobs, a big thank you!
