Thank goodness Dez is able to talk Tiffany down. But what if Leslie is talking about frequent customer Luann?

Luann’s mom – now that went south in a hurry!

Dez picks up on the importance of talking to his cat. And Tiff is making an assumption. Saying someone is looking hot doesn’t necessarily mean having a crush. Glad Dez is letting her know she might be wrong – before she makes a fool of herself. Although if she spreads a rumor about Les thinking Nancy is hot, that could blow up big time. And could the “someone at work has been really hot lately” be a regular customer not an employee?

Dez, please. In Nancy, Les might have pings of wanting a mother figure. His own mother was never one to him so he grew up essentially motherless. Nancy represents to him what a mom should be. If he is thinking his feeling is romantic, Nancy would put him on straight that he’s mistaken and explain his misplaced feeling toward her. So that’d leave Tiff. OR….the someone might be a guy. Maybe they figure it’s time to bring in a gay character again since Pru exited. Maybe Les is eyeing Ox. He is a simpleton so that might be very appealing to Les who grew up with a complicated life.

Dang – Dez hit a foul ball in the conversation. I mean Nancy is hot – but that is not what it’s about – at least i hope not.

Well, truth be told Luann’s mom is pretty hot . Wink, wink, nod, nod.

Well, it’s seems that Tiff and a number of “folks” here, have forgotten Les’ unwanted advances to Tiff back in High School.

And if that’s wasn’t ENOUGH, Tiff KNOWS that Les has the “I’ll do anything for you” HOTS for her.

Because Ms. “I Can Control Les,” has been playing that to HER advantage for years now, most recently during last year’s Gulag stay. (And for the record, she’s been doing the same thing to Ox)

Okay. I believe a “comedy of errors is in the making.”

I’m thinking that this overheard conversation could mean:

1) Les was the person “hot” working that demeaning kitchen job, and he was confiding that “fact” to his cat.

2) Maybe Les WAS talking about Nancy. Well Nancy IS hot. And she was flattered when that customer hit on her. But gee, do We really want to go there?

3) Maybe Les spotted Luann at the Fuse recently. Of course, that is too much to ask for.

Looks like the Fuse menu just added a nothingburger.

OMG!! What a patented misdirection play! Les might have the hots for a perfect mom figure, Nancy, Luann’s mom ans lest it’s forgotten she is one of the owners along with her husband, Frank. After all, lest we forget, Les’s mom, Ann Eiffel, a/k/a awful/grifter/sociopath (tarsa’s cpusin is the psychopath of the strip). He likes Tiff well enough, after all they conspired together in the last caper where Ann had to make an exit stage right from the strip (although the Count has been lobbying for her return, be patient) but she is just selfish—and needy—enough to assume his crush is on her, but Dez is far wiser. Wait until moan Queen Steph gets hold of this info. Ought to be a hilarous arc coming.

Tiffany appears smug. She didn’t give a thought about Nancy, who is still quite attractive. Now on Monday, “but Nancy’s too old for Les.”

Do we know if Les is straight? Asking for a friend.

Dez is not wrong, Les could have a crush on his boss. Nancy is a beautiful woman and in the past it has been seen that receiving compliments from her makes Les very happy. It would be interesting, also because it’s probable that for Tiffany Nancy is a sort of ideal woman that she respects as a boss and maybe she would have liked to have as a mother. It would be fun fun!

It’s reasons like this why I don’t like Bets. Either she’s lying about Les all together to get Tiffany off her back or she revealed something Les never wanted anybody to know about (e.i. talking to Puck)

How the mighty have fallen! Tiff, who once thought herself too “hot”to handle, is “flattered” by the (possible) attentions of a man/boy whose ambitions are to wash dishes and fondle a cat ? It is to weep..

There’s a difference between having a crush on someone and being physically attracted to them, although the two can go together.

Tiff just wants all men to gravitate toward her. It is a common occurrence within womanhood. The opposite if true also. I think within our DNA? there is this desire to be worshiped. Do I go too far?

Older women are so much more experienced

& perhaps the crush is not on a female.

Uh….Tiff? For decades now guys have also been finding other guys hot. He may not be referring to a female someone.

Now if THAT’S where this arc is going, I’m totally down.

I tend to get invested in a good way when Dez is on the scene. She’s one of the very few truly likable characters in a strip of self-absorbed people.

This is so funny! Tiffany has just assumed (as usual) that if a sentence has “lookin’ hot” in it it HAS to be about her!!!! What a leap! This comment is so vague. It could be he has a crush on Nancy (he does tend to pick the wrong women to bestow his affections upon) or it could be a delivery person or even a regular customer. Time will tell….. maybe even Tara who comes into KK to write her stories on her laptop.

DAY TWO OF THE CAMPAIGN TO BRING BACK DELTA!

Well, let’s just bust that bubble, Dez! (“OK, Tiff is deflated; Bets is next, and that’s ONE end of the noisy roommates. Then I save Stef for last! MWA-HA-HA-HAAAA!”)

Les never said anyone is Looking Hot, just that someone is really hot. I think he is talking about his job washing dishes. It is too hot in the kitchen.

We’re always learning new things about the characters here. What do we really know about Les’ sexual preferences?

Ok everybody. This is Luann. Forget all of the past history between these two characters. None of it exists anymore. Even though we know there’s been plenty of times Tiffany and Les have interacted, right now they are just two kids working at a restaurant and one thinks the other has a crush on her. Maybe some time in the future the story might remember he helped rescue her from the mansion and was nice to her when she was hurt, or the Ann Eiffel adventure they had together, or their tip split agreement, but for right now, it’s just boy girl stuff. Just DON’T bring Ox into it – PLEASE.

And the Dez character is completely off base suggesting that Les is checking out Nancy (his boss). Bad on you G&K!

Nancy? Well that could be an interesting development, which of course means that G&K won’t do anything with it. They’re good at introducing good storytelling possibilities but then failing to develop them. There’s rarely any satisfaction in the end. Case in point: Bernice the muse, Tiffany’s Epic Pool Party, Bets finally confronts Stef, Luann goes skydiving, Tiffany’s Kip obsession, etc….

Did it occur to anyone that it could also be a steady customer?

So we move on to this middle school ‘does he like me’ crap. Are we just going to gloss over the fact that Stef has been getting it on for 10 hours?

Les and Tiff? No way. I’m still hoping Gunther and Tiff become an item. We know she had feelings for him. As for Les, I think he’d match well with Tara Starr; they seem to have similar energy.
