Tiffany expected too much. I feel sorry for her. Stef will not be happy to see Tiffany in that dress in a car with her man. Will Tiffany change her clothes, or will she even go out to dinner with Kip? We shall see.

Of all the things she could blow, why did it have to be her chances with Kip?

Wait for it, Tiff…you go to pick her up, you and Kip tell her the truth about what happened, but the child will still throw accusations and a tantrum. Growing up is NOT in her future. Kip will eventually get tired of the fun and look for something (and especially someONE) more stable.

I almost feel sorry for Tiffany. But Kip is clearly, genuinely, deeply in love with Stef. I don’t think he will ever leave her and they probably were together already in high school. Let’s hope Tiffany will now accepts the reality once and for all. I’m curious to see if they meet someone at the restaurant (Gunther, or Les who tells her about Gunther) so that Tiffany can use the fact that she’s worried about her best friend as an excuse to not go with Kip to welcome Stef, or if the next strip will be directly about them at the airport.

Let’s see.

Most colleges let out in early May for Summer break. Kip started staying at the manse almost immediately after college let out . So We’re talking about well over three months from then to now.

And during all that time Kip:

Has been a perfect gentleman, still loyal to his current g/f.

Hasn’t made a single move in Tiff’s direction.

Hasn’t invited Tiff to dinner.

Hasn’t even stopped by say “Hello.”

And “folks” are still “hoping” for a Kip/Tiff ‘romance??’

Come ON, Seriously?

Kip ain’t interested in Tiffany, people. At least not as anyone other than a “friend.”

Of course, there’s always the slim chance that Stef will return and announce that she’s met someone else and is moving to the Jersey Shore. That might be Tiff’s chance for Kip and could leave the quad with possibly two new openings for dorm mates, although I doubt We’ve seen the last of Bets.

Might be good for Tiff to date Kip, once. Tiffany has dated Star quarterbacks before, mostly in high school, but to no avail.

Maybe she’ll finally learn that all that glitters ain’t on the gridiron……,

Summertime is almost over with, making a move to get the prize is done.

Stef’s flight is going to get in early and she’s going to catch them at the restaurant and go on a screaming binge. Tiffany will get to sit there and listen to Kip yell at Stef that Tiffany means nothing to him.

Tiff and Kip get to the airport. Stef either announces she’s met someone else or he breaks up with her after she starts accusing him of being unfaithful.

Maybe today’s strip is to show that he is (for better or worse) honest/loyal – that way there is no ‘ick’ factor to how he and Tiff become a thing.

Tiff should have showed more cleavage then maybe Kip would have made it a date :)

So many people want Kip and Stef to get in a fight over Tiffany and break up, then, I guess it would be Tiff and Kip getting together. But does anyone really want to be the rebound?

Many are not seeing things from Kip’s viewpoint. Surely he’s not the the type who would stoop so low as to wait for when his girlfriend is visiting her parents and start an affair with someone then. And he doesn’t see all Tiff’s thought balloons the way we do; moreover I don’t think he’s ever had any plan to date her. He just wanted to take Tiff for dinner before Stef got back but cut it a bit close so they go to the airport together afterwards; Kip may mistakenly think that Tiff and Stef having roomed together are friends to some extent so that the two of them picking Stef up should be fine and why are folks so obsessed with Tiff having to date Ox, stop with the match making already, there’s no sparks between those two.

Zeno2099: This heavy trolling started when one commenter moved to this strip after being banned by another. Here is comments pretty consistently encourage others to make negative troll comments about the female characters, and encourage others do the same. I have been a fan of Luann for years, following her trek through young womanhood. They sexualize the situations and hate on strong woman characters. I think they are sick.

Take it from a woman, men do this obfuscating move (playing dumb) all the time, some have no other way to cope with friction in a relationship. At least Kip has the excuse of being a teenager still.

If Kip is conscious he will hopefully find a way for Tiff to back out, as it is bound to be very awkward. I hope Stef confronts Kip and dumps the dullard.

Well he’s doing her a favor by ending her unrequited love, really, She should pass on picking up the flowers and the pickup.
