BAM! And there you have it… Kip has broken up with Stef.

Will he now try to get together with Tiff… or will he cave and get back together with Stef in a few days??

I hope he breaks up with her for good. I’m so tired of her. She always wants something from her friends and she cries, screams and whines until they all give in to her and let her have her way. She’s a spoiled brat who needs to be put in her place once and for all.

Been waiting a while for Stef to get a reality check.

Finally! Boy has a brain and used it.

Of course, she’ll blame Tiffany. God forbid anything being her fault.

The best part of breaking up is the make up sex. Though in Kip’s case I’m not sure there is a noticeable difference.

Looks like Kip has been waiting for Stef to give him a reason to break up with her. She handed it to him. I don’t know if I like this. I’d rather Kip break up with her for her lousy personality and narcissistic tendencies than this – which is about her giving him an out. A cowardish way to get out of relationship. Wonder if Tiff is thinking the same?

He FINALLY grew a pair! This might bode well for Tiff. BTW, for those who have said that Tiff is reverting to her high-school ways, please remember that she’s the one who finally opened Kip’s eyes as to the selfish monster his GF really is—just as she did with her dad and his involvement with Ann Eiffel! And, like “Ann Awful”, I hope this b!tch will just disappear!

It has been a long time since I liked a Luann strip, but this is worth it. It took three years for Kip to break up with Stef. Will he get with Tiff? Who knows but it’ll be great to be single for a while

Perhaps Kip has finally gotten tired of the red flags Stef has been waving for quite some time. She has no idea she has been waving anything but her pom-poms at him all this time.

YES! Always great to see a stuck-up broad get what she deserves.

I’m sorry for Stef. She brought this break on herself and she should have been a nicer person. If she had Kip might never have looked Tiffany’s way. But he did and it is on now! Tiffany is going to eventually get her prize. I hope he is worth it. I am glad Kip finally did the right thing and broke up with Stef. He was just using her and dancing around between her and Tiffany was just plain bad and cowardly behavior. Stef will be very hurt but to prove she’s not hurt at all she will probably immediately get a new boyfriend to try and make Kip jealous. It probably won’t work though. He never really loved her so it’s a good thing it’s over.

Maybe Kipper is actually also tired of all the areas he has to preform to expectations, demands, and the continual drama. Tiff has been somewhat similar to Steph in her past, but now represents some calmness and kindness. I think she got tired of all the drama in her life, though often caused by her own self. I like how she has been one of the characters in this comic that has matured past the high school days. Hopefully this will become the time for Kip to mature. They could make a good couple and bring some positive couple stability to the strip.

What will Tiffany do now? Will she go after Kip and agree to give him the sex he’s used to? Or will she invite them to the pagoda of peace and break out the wind chimes to get them back together? Or will she come home from work on Saturday to those familiar sounds coming from the other bedroom?

Should have happened a long time ago.

Some commenters are saying Kipp is trading one spoiled brat for another. I don’t agree. Tiffany has matured quite a bit since she gave up trying to be a cheerleader and a hollywood starlet. She’s acquired some depth of character. She’s more open to change, and she listens to others more than she used to.

Let’s hope this time Kip leaves Stef and never comes back to her, but I don’t think so. Now the life between the roommates will be even worse than before. With Stef sad that Kip left her and furious with Tiffany. I don’t think Tiffany will try to get them back together like she did with Bets and Gunther.

Kip needs to be away from Stef. She doesn’t care about anyone but herself. So, he’s maturing and wants a relationship that has meaning (more than just s-x) and that means being with someone who is kind.

A problem remains that Kip obviously enjoys having sex with Stef, all the time. She’s got him back in the past using it, and it may work again. Afterall, would Tiffany be willing to have that kind of relationship where a lot of intimacy is expected by Kip? It seems that for Kip, sex is a good enough reason to stay with a girl, even if she’s a pain with a lousy personality.

The writers do seem to emphasize the fact that Kip and Stef have sex, whereas it’s more subtle with Betts and Gunther and even married Brad and Toni. Maybe they do mean to suggest that there is nothing much beyond that, but if so, what are they trying to say? They’ve been together since HS. It’s not particularly remarkable that they’re sexually active. There must be a little more to their bond than that. I really doubt Kip is sticking around because he’s afraid he’ll have to do without for a while.

Men are almost never complimented by a woman. If it should happen, the guy will usually look for some ulterior motive.

I would like to see Steffanie start dating some incredible guy, and sure, Tiffany could end up with Kip….she could end up listening to him talking non-stop about Steffie and her new man. This is just another case of the poor little rich girl always getting what she wants. Nothing new.

Well stef IS over-reacting to two friends hanging out. She’s acting JUST like “peg” from Married with Children because she’s not being SHOWERED with endless love and attention.
