What is it with this family? Every time one of the cats says, “Woman!” the whole screen gets blurry!

The Tidy Woman can’t dispute pics.

Oh my, we do have some Sophie facial expressions today!

I believe a phone full of cat pictures is indisputable evidence of belonging to the cat in question. Also incredibly awesome. Sophie’s look can only be described as triumphant. Yet, somehow, this story isn’t over.

Oho! Incontrovertible evidence! Case closed!

I love that Sophie’s woman said: I should have known when I saw the living room! Hahahahahaha! She knows Sophie SO WELL!

I love how Sophie and her Woman have almost identical expressions in each panel. And I love the phone evidence…and here I was thinking they’d need a microchip! Love is the best evidence.

Tidy Woman is lucky she only had to deal with Gutter and Natasha. She wouldn’t have survived Lupin and Ora Zella.

The matching glowers in panel three are priceless! As is the fact that Sophie’s woman isn’t ever going to scream at Sophie’s artistic nature. I do feel a touch of sympathy for Tidy Woman, who I do believe wanted to love and be loved by a cat. She went about it all wrong (as Gutter tried to tell her) but watching someone miss the mark so thoroughly is still sad.

I almost thought Sophie’s Woman was going to say “I’ve got over 3000 pictures of this cat’s art on my phone”.

I hope Sophie did some toilet art in the bathroom while stuck in there. Probably no paper towels, but I bet the (U)TW had those stuffy little hand towels.

The look on Sophie’s Woman’s face is a familiar one for me. My Mother got that look on her face when she was telling someone off. It’s the “Just try me” face. I’ve seen many a man shrink into little boys at that look. LOL

So now I am wondering if there is going to be some kind of cliffhanger on Saturday, or if it will be a joyful reunion instead. Any guesses?

Anyone else think panel four needs to be on mugs, T-shirts and pretty much everything else?

Any doubt remaining of Tidy Woman’s guilt is now gone. If she’d really been innocently trying to save Sophie, she’d have been glad to have found the real owner. But trying to lie about it…yeah, cat thief.

So the Tidy Woman has no problem throwing Gutter under the bus. Very glad to see Sophie’s woman has TW all figured out.

The sheer joy of reuniting on Sophie’s and her Woman’s face in panel 1 is absolutely purrfect!! I do like that their expressions mirror one another in each panel too. Great job Georgia!!

Even though Tidy Woman is really digging herself into a hole here, it wouldn’t surprise me completely (even after everything we’ve seen) if Georgia somehow manages to give us some new information that would shed some light on this and somehow make TW not quite such a villain. (Her excuses, all the lying, the throwing poor Gutter under the bus, the delusional show cat fantasy, etc. seem so pathetic.)

And if the cat napper bothered to take her to the vet to check for a chip, she wouldn’t have glitter all over the place! I am NOT fond of people taking other people’s cats. Unless that cat is a known colony cat, ALWAYS check for a chip!

ok, i’ve read over 600 comments and no one has mentioned Sophie in the last panel, so i must be imagining things that aren’t there. i finally figured out that those are Sophie’s Woman’s fingers holding her, but what is the salmon colored thing?? i went back and Sophie’s dress is sort of salmony but looks way lighter than today’s panel. am i bonkers??

Oh happy day!! Sophie is saved & I can reduce my anxiety meds!

Not enough.

I got Vivekat as a small kitten. The first day I left her alone to go to work. When I got home, she had sliced open the fabric screen and escaped. I called her name repeatedly around the area of the apartment. I heard her meow, which had already been imprinted on my heart. She was behind a neighbor’s door. No one was home. I camped on the doorstep for a couple of hours listening to her meow until the neighbor returned and I got my cat back.

There’s no feeling like that.

(Please no “condolences” or “congratulations”. It was decades ago and I get unnecessary notifications for each such message.)
