Of course we all know that Kippie will give Stef another chance, believing that she really has changed, (but we all know that she hasn’t) and because he misses the easy lay. Meanwhile, Stef will be nice in front of Kip, but her usual devil self when he’s not around. Tiffany will try and tell Kip that Step hasn’t changed at all, but Kip will believe Stef over Tiffany, believing Tiffany to be jealous.

Tiffany kinda had this coming for jumping the gun in half a nanosecond.

Really, the question is “what does Tiffany see in Kip?” He’s so bland, non-communicative he feels like a clone of Piro. What does he offer in a relationship except maybe the sex?

You know that scraping, sort of grinding noise you hear when a car is hopelessly stuck and the tires are just spinning? That’s what I hear when I read this strip now.

Stef’s ongoing addressing of those she barely tolerates by calling them by Marion Knight’s nickname would be more than enough to put off all but the most weak willed.

I’m going out on a limb here and predict that Kip is not dumb enough to hook back up with Stef.

At least not right away.

If that’s the case, WAR has been declared.

Although one has to question if THIS “war” like all Wars is truly WORTH it.

At ANY rate, Win or Lose, it’s time Stef’s “dominance” of Quad ENDED: No more Privacy Huts, No more Special Treatment for Steffie-Poo.

And I STILL find it difficult to believe that Stef has had “eyes” for no other guys than Kip. :-)

Kip and Stef have been together since high school, right? His first serious girlfriend.

They can be difficult to detach from because they are “familiar” and familiar is comfortable and comfortable is easy.

However, as people grow and mature, they can grow apart with different interests or ideologies.

Kip has obviously grown more than Stef, in many ways. The question is, will he have the balls to end it with Stephani, or will he fall back into (familiar) old habits?

I really don’t see what is so great about Kip. He and Stef are a perfect set of one-dimensional bookends. They deserve each other.

It just dawned on me that “shug” is probably short for “sugar”, meant as an endearment, whether genuine or sarcastic. Sounds like it might be a Southern thing. Stephanie as a Southern belle makes a lot of sense to me.

Well, I called this happening yesterday!

Knew this was going to happen and they’ll leave without paying for the pie, double stiffing Tiff.

This is a good thing, it forces Kip to make a decision about what he wants. If he doesn’t say anything and goes with Stef, Tiffany will have dodged a bullet with someone who would have cheated on her whit his ex on the firs occasion. Of course, if Kip doesn’t say anything, I wouldn’t mind if Tiffany will smash that cake on his face.

There’s a term for college-age women who wear cheerleading outfits every day: developmentally disabled.

So the story question is really, IMHO, whether as for Kip, he goes back to Stef, or takes up with Tiff; between Tiff and Stef, the question, and the humor is how this awkward situation rolls out, how, and who does what to whom and why. My money is he goes back to what he is used to, in spite of Stef’s remark she’s changed—she hasn’t really—and spurns Tiffany’s “golden” opportunity to steal him. Will pie’s be smushed? HMMM, too obvious, but misdirection is the theme of Luannverse.

Let’s see…I’ve dusted off my crystal ball and see at least one of the pieces of pie is not going to get eaten, but dropped or in some manner end up as a stain on someone’s clothes before this matter is settled.

Congrats to the many, many people who accurately predicted this plot development (I’m not sure something so easily foreseen even deserves to be labeled as a twist.) Still, let’s see if Kip lets Stef get away with unilaterally declaring the break over. Based on past character acts set up a similar way (like Tara jumping the fence at Luann’s daycare, or Shannon busting into TJ’s room to use his stuff) it may appear to set up for some pushback, but said pushback never occurs. But maybe this time I’m wrong.

I wonder if Tiff is going to serve some pie to Stef’s face, ala mode.

This happened to me many times. Though I didn’t know the details of the split, how they felt about each other who was at fault etc. I just felt used, walked away. I do not deal with this sort of drama! You can have it

Competitive interactions shall begin and arguments ensue.

But, Tiffany would be far better off if she would simply let Stefanie dig her own hole, and Tiffany and Kip meet up AFTER Tiffany’s shift is done.

Of course we all recognize that this is a bit of a play on the oft said phrase from a disgruntled parent….. “I hope your kid some day is just like you!”

Stephanie is Tiffany’s doppelganger separated temporally. Stephanie is pretty much the OLD Tiffany. And, so the somewhat more nuanced, somewhat more caring, somewhat wiser CURRENT Tiffany is seeing how she herself was…… and would have become in adult"-ish" form.

While this meeting was to be expected, I do hope that if we are fortunate enough to see the Tiffany-Kip pie eating date occur…. that we do delve into Tiffany’s emotional backstory more…. ultimately helping us to better see how Tiffany has grown as a person.

It was just a matter of time…

Who’s going to kill Stef, Tiffany or Kip?

Jealous and Mean. I can see how knowing another girl is out to steal your boyfriend would do those two things to a person. Kip is so seriously challenged. He should have clued in on it and apologized to Stef months ago.

Stefanie has had time to think back on how Tiffany manipulated the whole thing that led to her and Kip taking this “break” and it looks like she’s got a game plan. The OBVIOUS thing to do would be to find some guy and make him jealous, but she didn’t. Kip was most likely her first and she wants to save that commitment. I hope she wins, (and that it was Ox who called).

Look again at Nov 14, where Stef has just returned from seeing Kip and declares with tears that “Kip doesn’t want me!” The breakup was clear to her at that time, but Kip has apparently forgotten his resolve at that time. Now, he has capitulated to her presumptive assertion that they are back together. We should pity the boy for his weakness in letting Stef just roll over him in this manner. Perhaps G&K will revive the tension by letting Kip wake up in a week or two by seeing Stef’s possessive jealousy yet again because she really has not changed. The soap opera continues.
