For some reason I’m reminded of the movie “Death Becomes Her” in that the two feuding women end up killing themselves, but can’t die and are forced to live together with lots pf spackle and body paint.

Betcha Kip reminds Stef of her overactive suspicions of Tiff’s interest while he stayed in the guesthouse at the Farrell Mansion and yet nothing happened, and she was STILL suspicious and he’s tired of it. He already proved he wasn’t going to do anything and Tiff proved by staying away. What more does she want? Of course she wants Tiff to go away. Vanish. If you are clever, Stef, you’d introduce her to another guy.

Best strip of this year by far. What would be hilarious? Have the stadium lights turned off just as Steph tries to attack Tif. Blackout three panels with text balloons telling the story. I can think of some more great dialogue for Tif to hit Step with.

At last. Someone I loath more than Tiffany. In fact, while I don’t condone violence, here’s where I’d make an exception. In this instance, it would be okay for Tiffany to wind up and deck this egotisticall dame! (And I’m being polite by calling there that.) A shiner and a fat lip would improve her looks.

. This story line just gets more interesting. I wander how it will play out at the old dorm room. Will roommates take sides. Hopefully it doesn’t affect Kips work-haha! At the least we know Kip has a new and sweeter Cheerleader in the wings should he wake up

LOVED IT! Y’know, Kip is probably a hot commodity (commobody?) at Uni. So, I’m sure that Tiff’s not the only one being friendly towards him. There are probably other women who are all over him, and not trying to build a friendship. But because Tiff lives in the same dorm room she’s an outlet for Stef’s jealousy.

I’m really liking this arc.

If it wasn’t Tiff it could just as easily have been ANY girl who spent any amount of time with him. It’s only natural for a person to grow resentment towards someone who attempts to isolate them and lashes out at potential friendships (i.e. jealous girlfriend.) The only reason their relationship has lasted even this long is because she puts out so much, but that can only get you so far.

I have to ask…how many papers refused to run today’s strip? Then again, I just heard from a longtime sports journalist that his paper is going online-only, so the better question is, how many papers are there now, period?

For someone who CONSTANTLY tells Tiffany that they are not in the same league, she seems to be worried about Kip picking her

Well, technically Stef is right! Everything she suspects about Kip and Tiffany is true. If your boyfriend is making goo-goo eyes at your voluptuous blonde roommate and she is returning the favor you do have a problem. Tiffany and Kip are more than “just friends”!!!!! Both are very attracted to each other. However, Stef’s problems are far worse. As someone said, if someone can be stolen away, they were never really yours to begin with and your best decision is to let them go. You’ll never find any happiness if you try to chain someone to you. I hate that Stef is behaving this way but this break is best for everyone. It would be good if she ever grew up a little and evolved into a nicer person but she’s written one dimensionally I doubt that would ever happen. So, I guess Tiff may finally get her dream crush guy. I just hope this pairing works out. Tiffany deserves a break. Even though I’m not as big a fan of hers as some people here are, she has improved a little bit over high school. She’s nicer than Stef by a mile even though she’s a master manipulator and she treats Ox abominably. I am glad she finally told Stef off. Stef has been nasty to her for far too long and gotten away with it.

It would be much more satisfying if Tiffany just walked away and ignored Stef. Stef loves attention and drama. Ignoring her would be the worst you could do to her.

To those who support Steff – Tiff may have been interested in Kip, but after their talk, she seemed to understand he was committed to Steff. However, he has been critical and disgusted with Steff’s bad attitude for a while. His calling a break is her own fault. Tiff had nothing to do with that. IMO

Maybe a mini gatoraide like dump would work.

You know maybe Ann Eiffel has a worthy competitor for most reviled character in the strip; but Tiff has given the “finger” to that character, come to think of it Tiff has done that, figuratively to Ann as well. Remember Ann slinking out of her unsuccessful gambit to separate Tom Ferrell from Tiffany Farrell, and his money and his relationship with his daughter, although to me the bonus was Les’s denouncement for the total failure of his drifter, sociopathic mom at being that but not a mom. Hmmm. Will this predict a bigger conflict, with Kip being a major part? Time will tell.

Punching Stef in the nose might be unladylike. But showing her the “Digitus impudicus” is merely a polite way to say “get lost”.

Hi folks. After the Hallowee’n lights got shut off and all good little goblins were home out of the wet, we opened up LuannFan.com and looked at the answers to the puzzle. WOW! Some I never would have gotten , a few I had, and others I had come up with words that fit but were. Wrong. Eg. Final across clue fit “chocolates” but wasn’t. “Trash” bag threw me, as did “wolfmanstrick”. I’m old, so “WolfmanJack” is burned into the dna of my memories.Still, great puzzle! Hope they do it again next year!

I like Tiffany.

I am an American living in Ukraine (since early 2023), and I find the self-censorship here amusing. In the opening days of the Russian invasion (February 2022), there was a famous and inspiring incident. The Russian cruiser Moskva radioed an order to the Ukrainian soldiers guarding a small but militarily significant island, known as Snake Island for them to surrender or be bombarded. Their now-famous reply was “Russian warship, go f**k yourself.” They were bombarded, but only surrendered when completely out of ammo.

The Ukrainian government in April 2022 issued a stamp showing a solitary Ukrainian soldier clearly raising his middle finger to a Russian warship. We are apparently afraid of displaying the salute in a comic strip, but Ukraine celebrated it on a postage stamp.
